Setup
1. Battery Charging
The DEERC Apache RC Helicopter comes with two USB-C rechargeable batteries. To charge, connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the battery and a suitable USB power source (not included). A full charge from completely depleted takes approximately 40 minutes per battery. The low battery warning feature helps ensure safe landings.

2. Remote Controller Setup
The remote controller requires 3 AAA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the controller, insert the batteries with correct polarity, and close the compartment.
3. Helicopter Preparation
Ensure the helicopter's battery is securely inserted into its compartment. Place the helicopter on a flat, level surface before attempting to fly.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On and Pairing
Turn on the helicopter first, then the remote controller. The indicator lights on both devices will flash and then become solid once paired. This ensures a stable 2.4GHz connection for interference-free operation.
2. One-Key Takeoff/Landing
For ease of use, the helicopter features a one-key takeoff/landing function. Press the designated button on the remote controller to initiate automatic takeoff or landing. This is ideal for beginners and ensures smooth transitions.

3. Altitude Hold
The altitude hold feature allows the helicopter to maintain a stable height, making it easier to control and maneuver, especially for novice pilots. This function automatically adjusts the throttle to keep the helicopter at a consistent altitude.
4. Speed Settings
The helicopter offers 2-speed settings to accommodate different skill levels. Start with the lower speed for learning and precision control, then switch to the higher speed for more dynamic flying once comfortable.
5. Flight Environment
The DEERC Apache RC Helicopter is best suited for indoor use or calm outdoor conditions with no wind. Its lightweight design makes it susceptible to strong winds, which can affect control and stability.
Maintenance
1. Blade Replacement
In case of damage, spare main rotor blades (A and B) and a tail rotor blade are included. Use the provided screwdriver to carefully replace damaged blades, ensuring correct orientation as indicated on the blades.
2. Cleaning
Wipe the helicopter and remote controller with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove dust and debris. Avoid using water or harsh cleaning agents.
3. Storage
Store the helicopter and its components in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries from the remote controller if storing for extended periods.
Troubleshooting
1. Helicopter Not Responding/Taking Off
- Ensure both the helicopter and remote controller are powered on and successfully paired.
- Check battery levels of both the helicopter and the remote controller. Recharge or replace as necessary.
- Verify that the helicopter is placed on a flat, level surface for takeoff.
2. Unstable Flight
- Check for any damaged or bent rotor blades and replace them if needed.
- Ensure there are no strong air currents or wind in the flight area.
3. Low Battery Warning
The helicopter is equipped with a low battery warning system. When the battery is low, the LED lights on the helicopter will flash, indicating it's time to land and recharge. Initiate landing immediately to prevent uncontrolled descent.

4. Emergency Stop Function
In case of an emergency or loss of control, activate the emergency stop function on the remote controller to immediately cut power to the rotors. Refer to the remote controller diagram in the product manual for the exact button location.
