Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup and connection of your Insta360 Link 2C webcam:

1. Attach the Webcam to the Mount: The Insta360 Link 2C webcam attaches magnetically to its included mount. Simply align the webcam with the mount until it snaps into place securely.
2. Position the Mount: The versatile mount can be placed on top of your monitor, laptop screen, or any flat surface. Adjust the angle of the mount to achieve your desired camera position. The mount also features a 1/4"-20 tripod thread on the bottom for additional mounting options.
3. Connect to your Computer: Use the provided USB-C cable to connect the webcam to your computer. If your computer only has USB-A ports, use the included USB-C to A adapter.
4. Install Link Controller Software: For full functionality and customization, download and install the free Link Controller software from the official Insta360 website. This software allows you to fine-tune settings, access specialized modes, and personalize your experience.

• How does Privacy Mode work?
  Both Link 2 and Link 2C feature Privacy Mode. Link 2 automatically enters Privacy Mode after 10 seconds of inactivity. You can also manually tilt the lens 90° downward. Link 2C has an easy-access privacy switch for privacy whenever you need it.
• What video conferencing software is Link 2/Link 2C compatible with?
  Link 2 and Link 2C are fully compatible with popular video conferencing software like Microsoft Teams, Skype, Zoom, and more. As long as Link 2/Link 2C is recognized as a camera source, it is compatible with the conferencing software of your choice.
• What is the maximum resolution and frame rate supported by Insta360 Link 2 and Insta360 Link 2C?
  The maximum supported resolution is 4K30fps. The maximum supported frame rate is 1080p60fps. Please note the Virtual Camera does not support 50fps or 60fps. Makeup does not support 4K resolution. Natural Bokeh (Windows) does not support 4K. Ensure the Controller software and webcam firmware are updated to the latest versions for best results.
