3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your UCOCARE Mini Camera 4G and connect it to the UBox application:

  1. Insert the SIM Card: Locate the SIM card slot on the camera. Insert the provided 4G SIM card into the slot, ensuring the correct orientation as indicated by the diagram.
  2. Power On the Camera: Slide the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position. The camera's indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Reset the Camera: If necessary, press and hold the reset button until you hear an audible signal. This will restore the camera to its factory settings.
  4. Wait for Blue Light: Allow the camera to initialize. Wait until the blue status indicator light becomes solid, indicating it's ready for connection.
  5. Download UBox App: Download and install the 'UBox' application on your smartphone from your device's app store.
  6. Add Device in App: Open the UBox app. Click on "Add a Device" and then select "Configure a 4G device."
  7. Scan QR Code: In the app, select "Blue light is solid" and click "Next." The app will prompt you to scan the QR code located on the back of your camera. Align the camera's QR code within your phone's camera frame.
  8. Complete Connection: Once the QR code is scanned, the app will attempt to connect to the camera. Wait for the connection to succeed, then click "Finish" and "OK" to complete the setup.

4. Operating Instructions

Live View and Remote Access

Once connected, you can access the camera's live feed from anywhere using the UBox app on your smartphone. This allows for real-time monitoring and peace of mind.

Recording and Storage

Recordings are stored either locally on a TF card (up to 128GB, not included) or in the cloud (7-day free trial available). The camera automatically overwrites older recordings when the storage is full. You can easily review recorded clips by selecting and sliding through the timeline in your mobile application.

Customizing Alerts
