Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the scale and all accessories from the packaging.
- Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the scale. Insert the two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
- Placement: Place the scale on a flat, stable, and vibration-free surface to ensure accurate readings. Avoid placing it near strong electromagnetic fields or extreme temperature changes.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- To turn on the scale, press the "ON/OFF" button. The display will show "88888" and then "0.00g".
- To turn off the scale, press and hold the "ON/OFF" button for a few seconds until the display turns off. The scale also features an automatic shut-off function after a period of inactivity to save battery life.
2. Unit Conversion
- With the scale turned on, press the "MODE/CAL" button repeatedly to cycle through the available weighing units: g (grams), oz (ounces), ozt (troy ounces), dwt (pennyweights), ct (carats), and gn (grains).
- The selected unit will be displayed on the LCD screen.

3. Tare Function
The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so only the weight of the contents is measured.
- Turn on the scale and wait for it to display "0.00g".
- Place the empty container (e.g., the protective cover) on the weighing platform. The display will show the container's weight.
- Press the "TARE" button. The display will reset to "0.00g".
- Now, place the items you wish to weigh into the container. The display will show only the net weight of the items.

4. Calibration
Calibration ensures the accuracy of your scale. A 100g calibration weight is recommended (not included).
- Turn on the scale.
- Press and hold the "MODE/CAL" button until "CAL" appears on the display, then release.
- The display will then flash the required calibration weight (e.g., "100.00g").
- Place the exact 100g calibration weight on the center of the weighing platform.
- Wait for the display to show "PASS" and then return to normal weighing mode. Calibration is complete.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the scale with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.
- Storage: Store the scale in a clean, dry place. Keep the protective cover on when not in use to prevent damage to the weighing platform.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Remove batteries if the scale will not be used for an extended period.
- Handle with Care: Avoid dropping the scale or subjecting it to strong impacts, as this can affect its accuracy.
