5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Vehicle Compatibility

This car stereo is designed for standard 1 Din installation slots, with dimensions of 176mm (W) x 90mm (D) x 50mm (H). Please measure your dashboard opening to ensure compatibility before installation.

5.2 Wiring Diagram (General Guide)

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Press the power button (usually a physical button or a soft button on the screen) to turn the unit on or off.

6.3 Bluetooth Connectivity

For hands-free calls and audio streaming without CarPlay/Android Auto.

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on the car stereo.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and search for available devices.
  3. Select "VECHTEL" (or similar device name) from the list on your phone and pair.
  4. Once connected, you can make/receive calls and stream audio.

6.4 Mirror Link

Mirror Link allows you to display your smartphone's screen directly onto the car stereo.

  1. Connect your smartphone to the car stereo via USB cable or Wi-Fi (if supported by your phone and the stereo's Mirror Link function).
  2. Select the "Mirror Link" application on the car stereo.

6.5 FM Radio

To listen to FM radio stations:

  • Select the "Radio" application from the main menu.
  • Use the touchscreen controls to scan for stations, manually tune, or select preset stations.

6.6 USB Media Playback

Insert a USB drive into one of the USB ports to play audio or video files.

  • The system will automatically detect the USB drive and prompt you to select the media player.
