Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your Bolt AX1800 Mesh Router system.
Step 1: Unpack and Connect the Main Node
- Unpack all three mesh nodes and power adapters from the box.
- Choose one node to be your main router. Place it near your modem.
- Connect one end of the provided Ethernet cable to the WAN port (usually labeled with a globe icon) on the main node.
- Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your modem's LAN port.
- Connect the power adapter to the main node and plug it into a power outlet. Wait for the indicator light to turn solid blue (or green, depending on model) indicating it's ready.
Step 2: Download the Nexxt Solutions App
Download the official Nexxt Solutions app from your mobile device's app store (iOS or Android). This app will guide you through the rest of the setup process.
Step 3: Configure Network via App
- Open the Nexxt Solutions app and create an account or log in.
- Tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon and select "Router" or "Mesh System".
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to the main node's default Wi-Fi network (SSID and password are usually found on a sticker on the bottom of the node).
- Set up your new Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.
Step 4: Add Additional Nodes
- Place the remaining two nodes in different areas of your home to extend coverage. Ensure they are within range of the main node or another connected node.
- Plug in the power adapters for the additional nodes.
- The nodes should automatically connect to the mesh network. The indicator light will turn solid blue (or green) once connected. If not, use the app to add them manually following the prompts.
