Safety Information
Your safety is paramount. Always adhere to the following safety guidelines:
- Wear a Helmet: Always wear an approved bicycle helmet that fits correctly.

Setup and Assembly
The WEIZE Freestyle BMX Bike requires some assembly. Follow these instructions carefully. It is recommended to have two people for certain steps.

Assembly Steps:

- Attach Handlebar: Insert the handlebar stem into the fork steerer tube. Align the handlebar with the front wheel and tighten the stem bolts. Ensure the brake cables are routed correctly and not tangled, especially for the 360-degree rotor system.
- Install Seat Post and Saddle: Insert the seat post into the frame's seat tube. Adjust the saddle height to a comfortable position and tighten the quick-release lever or bolt.
- Attach Pedals: Identify the Left (L) and Right (R) pedals. The left pedal tightens counter-clockwise, and the right pedal tightens clockwise. Thread them carefully into the crank arms and tighten firmly with a wrench.
- Install Pegs: Attach the four pegs to the front and rear wheel axles, ensuring they are securely fastened.
- Adjust Brakes: Ensure the V-brakes are properly aligned and the brake levers provide firm, responsive stopping power. Adjust cable tension as needed.

Operating Instructions
Basic Riding:
- Starting: Place one foot on a pedal, push off with the other foot, and then place the second foot on the other pedal.
- Pedaling: Apply even pressure to the pedals to move forward.
- Steering: Gently turn the handlebars in the desired direction.
Using the V-Brakes:
The bike is equipped with V-brakes for reliable stopping power. The right lever typically controls the rear brake, and the left lever controls the front brake. Practice braking at low speeds to understand their response.
- Gradual Braking: Apply both brakes gently and progressively for smooth stops.
- Emergency Braking: In an emergency, apply both brakes firmly. Be cautious with the front brake, as excessive force can cause the front wheel to lock and lead to a fall.
360-Degree Rotor:
The 360-degree rotor allows the handlebars to spin freely without tangling the brake cables, enabling advanced freestyle tricks. Ensure the rotor system is clean and lubricated for smooth operation.

Adjusting the Seat:
The seat height can be adjusted to fit the rider. Loosen the quick-release lever or seat post bolt, adjust the seat to the desired height (ensure the minimum insertion mark is not visible), and then securely tighten the lever or bolt.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your BMX bike.
- Tire Pressure: Check tire pressure before each ride. Maintain pressure within the range indicated on the tire sidewall.
- Brake Inspection: Regularly check brake pads for wear and ensure brake cables are not frayed. Adjust brake tension as needed.
- Chain Lubrication: Keep the chain clean and lubricated to prevent rust and ensure smooth pedaling. Apply bicycle-specific chain lubricant every few rides or after riding in wet conditions.
- Bolt Tightness: Periodically check and tighten all bolts and nuts, especially on the handlebars, stem, seat post, and wheels.
- Cleaning: Clean the bike regularly with mild soap and water. Avoid high-pressure washing directly on bearings.
- Pegs: Ensure pegs are securely tightened before each ride.
