- This appliance is for outdoor use only. Do not operate indoors.

Setup and Installation
1. Battery Installation
The water heater requires 2 "D" cell batteries (not included) for ignition. Locate the battery compartment on the side of the unit.

- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2 "D" size batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Gas and Water Connections
Connect the gas regulator to a propane tank and the water lines to the water heater's inlets/outlets.

- Connect the gas regulator hose to your propane tank. Tighten securely.
- Connect the other end of the gas regulator hose to the Gas Inlet on the water heater.
- Open the valve on the propane tank slowly.
- Apply a soapy water solution to all gas connections to check for leaks. Bubbles indicate a leak. If a leak is detected, turn off the gas immediately and re-tighten connections. Do not operate if leaks persist.
- Connect the water pump to a water source (e.g., bucket, tank) using one of the provided hoses.
- Connect the outlet of the water pump to the Water Inlet on the water heater using the other hose and appropriate adapters.
- Connect the shower head (or pet shower head) to the Hot Water Outlet on the water heater.
- Power the water pump using either the 9.8ft alligator clip cable (for battery setup) or the 23ft cigarette lighter cable (for vehicle power).
3. Mounting
The unit is designed for portable use and can be hung using its integrated folding handle. Ensure it is mounted securely on a stable surface or structure.

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On
Once all connections are secure and checked for leaks:
- Ensure the propane tank valve is open.
- Turn on the water pump to ensure water flow through the unit.
- Flip the ON/OFF switch on the control panel to the ON position. The digital display will illuminate.

2. Adjusting Water Temperature
The water heater features independent controls for gas flow and water flow to adjust the temperature.
- Gas Control Knob (Flame Icon): Adjusts the flame intensity. Turning towards MAX increases heat, towards MIN decreases heat.
- Water Control Knob (Water Droplet Icon): Adjusts the water flow rate. Turning towards MAX increases flow, towards MIN decreases flow.
- The digital display shows the current water temperature. Adjust both knobs to achieve your desired temperature.
3. Using the Shower Head
The included shower heads offer multiple spray modes for various uses.

- Select your desired spray mode by rotating the shower head face.
- Press the button on the shower head handle to temporarily stop water flow and conserve water. Release to resume.
4. Shutting Down
- Flip the ON/OFF switch on the control panel to the OFF position.
- Turn off the water pump.
- Close the valve on the propane tank.
- Disconnect all hoses and store the unit properly.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Before storing, especially in freezing temperatures, ensure all water is drained from the unit to prevent damage from freezing. The unit has anti-freeze protection, but manual draining is recommended for long-term storage.
- Gas Connections: Periodically inspect gas hoses and connections for wear, damage, or leaks. Replace any damaged components immediately.
- Batteries: Remove "D" cell batteries if the unit will not be used for an extended period to prevent corrosion.
