Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Unit does not ignite / No hot water
  • No gas supply or low propane.
  • Gas regulator not properly connected or faulty.
  • No water flow or insufficient water pressure.
  • Batteries are dead or incorrectly installed.
  • ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position.
  • Check propane tank level and ensure valve is open.
  • Verify gas regulator connection and check for leaks.
  • Ensure water pump is on and water source is available. Check for kinks in water hoses.
  • Replace batteries and check polarity.
  • Flip the ON/OFF switch to ON.
Water is too hot or too cold
  • Gas or water flow knobs incorrectly set.
  • Incoming water temperature is very low.
  • Adjust the gas control knob (flame icon) and water control knob (water droplet icon) to achieve desired temperature. Higher gas and lower water flow for hotter water; lower gas and higher water flow for cooler water.
  • Allow more time for the unit to heat water if the incoming water is extremely cold.
Water leaks from connections
  • Loose connections.
  • Damaged O-rings or seals.
  • Tighten all water hose connections.
  • Inspect O-rings and seals; replace if damaged.
