Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to properly set up and install your Govee HDMI 2.1 Sync Box 2:
- Clean the Installation Area: Use an alcohol prep pad to clean the back of your TV where the light strip will be installed. Ensure the surface is dry and free of dust.
- Install the Light Strip: Carefully peel off the adhesive backing from the RGBIC LED light strip and firmly press it along the edges of your 75-85 inch TV. Ensure the strip is positioned correctly for optimal light distribution.
- Secure Corner Joints: Use the provided mounting clips to secure the light strip at the corners of your TV. This helps maintain proper alignment and prevents the strip from detaching.
- Connect the Light Strip to the Sync Box: Connect the light strip to the designated Type-C ports on the HDMI Sync Box.
- Connect Input Devices: Connect your HDMI input devices (e.g., gaming consoles, streaming boxes) to the HDMI IN ports on the Sync Box using the provided HDMI 2.1 cables.
- Connect to TV: Connect the HDMI OUT port of the Sync Box to an HDMI input on your TV using an HDMI 2.1 cable.
- Power On: Connect the power adapter to the Sync Box and plug it into a power outlet.
- Pair with Govee Home App: Download the Govee Home App from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your AI Sync Box 2. Calibrate the positions of the lights as instructed within the app for accurate screen synchronization.

Important Notes
- Automatic Signal Switching: Automatic signal switching is not supported when multiple devices are connected to the HDMI IN ports. You may need to manually switch inputs.
- HDR, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision: When using HDR, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, the saturation of the light's color might decrease due to functional characteristics. This is normal. You can adjust the saturation in the Govee Home App to achieve your desired lighting effect.

Troubleshooting
- No Light or Incorrect Colors:
- Ensure all HDMI cables are securely connected to the correct IN/OUT ports.

- No Automatic Signal Switching:

- Color Saturation Issues with HDR/Dolby Vision:
- As noted, color saturation may decrease with HDR/HDR10+/Dolby Vision content. Adjust the saturation setting within the Govee Home App to compensate.
