1. Introduction

2. What's Included

Upon unboxing your iDPRT MT610 Pro Portable Thermal Printer, please ensure all the following components are present:

  • MT610 Printer ×1
  • USB-C Cable ×1
  • Quick Start Guide ×1
  • US Letter Thermal Paper ×10 sheets

3. Getting Started

3.1 Charging the Printer

Before initial use, fully charge the printer using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C end to the printer and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The LED indicator will show charging status.

A full charge provides enough power for approximately 360 pages of printing or 4 hours of continuous use, with a standby time of up to 720 hours.

3.2 Loading Paper

The iDPRT MT610 Pro uses thermal paper and does not require ink or toner. Ensure you use compatible thermal paper for optimal print quality.

  1. Open the paper input cover on the printer.
  2. Insert the thermal paper stack into the input slot, ensuring the printable side is facing up.
  3. Adjust the paper guides to fit the width of the paper snugly.
  4. Close the paper input cover.

4. Connectivity

4.1 Bluetooth Connection (for Mobile Devices)

The iDPRT MT610 Pro can connect wirelessly to your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth.

  1. Download the HerePrint App from your device's app store (available on iOS and Android).
  2. Turn on the MT610 Pro printer.
  3. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device.
  4. Open the HerePrint App and follow the on-screen instructions to search for and connect to your printer. The connection process typically takes about 90 seconds.

4.2 USB Connection (for Computers)

For printing from Windows, macOS, Linux, or Chrome OS computers, connect the printer via the supplied USB-C cable.

  1. Connect the MT610 Pro to your computer using the USB-C cable.
  2. Download and install the appropriate printer driver from the official iDPRT website: www.idprt.com/Driver.
  3. Once the driver is installed, your computer will recognize the MT610 Pro as a standard printer, allowing you to print from any application.

5. Operation

5.1 Printing Documents

Once connected, printing with the MT610 Pro is similar to using any other printer. Select the iDPRT MT610 Pro from your device's print options. The printer delivers sharp 300DPI output at a speed of 4-6 seconds per A4 page.

The printer is designed for monochrome (black and white) printing only.

5.2 Supported Paper Types

The MT610 Pro supports standard thermal paper in various sizes, including:

  • US Letter (8.5" x 11")
  • A4 (8.27" x 11.69")
  • A5 (5.82" x 8.27")
  • B5 (6.93" x 9.84")
  • 4-inch width paper (for labels or smaller documents)

Always use high-resolution thermal paper specifically designed for thermal printers to ensure optimal print quality and longevity of the print head.

6. Maintenance

The iDPRT MT610 Pro is an inkless thermal printer, which significantly reduces maintenance requirements compared to inkjet or laser printers.

6.1 Cleaning the Printer

  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the printer with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Print Head: If print quality degrades, the thermal print head may need cleaning. Gently wipe the print head with a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Ensure the printer is turned off and completely dry before use.

6.2 Storage

Store the printer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When not in use for extended periods, ensure the battery is charged to at least 50% to prolong its lifespan.

7. Troubleshooting
