4. Installation Instructions

Follow these steps carefully to install your vanity light fixture. It is recommended to have a second person assist during installation.

• Screwdriver (Phillips and Flathead)
• Wire Strippers
• Electrical Tape
• Pliers

• Ladder

Installation Steps:

1. Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box and turn off the power to the electrical box where you will install the fixture. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
2. Prepare Mounting Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket to the electrical box using the provided screws. Ensure the two longer mounting screws are inserted through the bracket and secured with small nuts from the back to hold them firmly in place.
3. Connect Wiring: With the fixture held near the electrical box (a piece of string or temporary support can be helpful if working alone), connect the wires:
   • Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the electrical box using a wire nut.
   • Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the electrical box using a wire nut.
   • Connect the ground wire from the fixture to the ground wire from the electrical box (usually bare copper or green) using a wire nut.
   • Wrap all wire connections with electrical tape for added security.
4. Mount Fixture: Carefully push all wires into the electrical box. Align the fixture's base with the mounting screws protruding from the bracket. Secure the fixture to the mounting bracket using the decorative nuts provided.
5. Install Glass Shades: Gently place each milky white frosted glass shade over the bulb socket and secure it with the retaining ring. Do not overtighten.
6. Install Bulbs: Screw in the appropriate E26 base bulbs (not included) into each socket. Do not exceed 60W per bulb.
7. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker or fuse box. Test the light fixture.

5. Operation

Once installed, operate the light fixture using your standard wall switch. If you have installed dimmable E26 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, you can adjust the brightness level to your preference.
