1. Introduction

3. Setup and Connectivity

3.1 Charging the Mouse

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the Keychron M3 mouse. Connect the provided Type-C cable to the mouse's charging port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter). The battery indicator will show charging status.

3.2 Connecting via 2.4 GHz Wireless

  1. Locate the 2.4 GHz USB receiver.
  2. Plug the receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Ensure the mouse is powered on and set to 2.4 GHz mode (refer to the switch on the mouse's underside, if applicable).
  4. The mouse should automatically connect to the receiver.

3.3 Connecting via Bluetooth 5.1

  1. Ensure the mouse is powered on and set to Bluetooth mode.
  2. On your computer or device, open Bluetooth settings.
  3. Search for new devices and select "Keychron M3" from the list.
  4. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.

3.4 Connecting via Wired USB

For a wired connection, simply connect the Type-C cable directly from the mouse to a USB port on your computer. The mouse will function in wired mode and charge simultaneously.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 DPI Adjustment

The Keychron M3 features a PixArt PAW 3395 sensor with a DPI range of 100 to 26,000. You can adjust the DPI sensitivity using the dedicated DPI button on the mouse or through the Keychron Engine software for more precise control.

4.2 Polling Rate

The mouse supports various polling rates depending on the connection mode:

  • 2.4 GHz Mode: Up to 4000 Hz
  • Wired Mode: Up to 1000 Hz
  • Bluetooth Mode: 125 Hz

Higher polling rates provide more responsive tracking, which is beneficial for gaming. Adjustments can be made via the Keychron Engine software.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your Keychron M3 mouse. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
