2. Safety Instructions
WARNING: Electrical appliance. Read all safety warnings and instructions carefully.
- Ensure the appliance is installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local regulations.
- Do not connect to ground.
- Always connect the Neutral (Blue wire) and Phase (Brown or Red wire). The Black wire is for central thermostat control only.
- This appliance is designed for three-phase connection.
- Do not cover the towel dryer when in operation to prevent overheating.
- Keep children away from the appliance. Child safety lock function is available.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Regularly inspect the power cord for damage. If damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
- The appliance maintains a temperature of approximately 7°C in Frost Protection mode.
- The appliance maintains a temperature 3.5°C lower than Comfort mode in ECO mode.

4. Installation
4.1. Electrical Connection
The BESTHERM HESTIA Electric Towel Dryer requires a three-phase electrical connection. Ensure proper wiring as follows:
- Blue Wire: Neutral
- Brown (or Red) Wire: Phase
- Black Wire: Connect only for control via a central thermostat. Do not connect to ground.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Initial Setup and Time Adjustment
Upon initial power-on, you can set the current time. Use the (+) and (-) buttons to adjust the hours and minutes. Press the OK-Boost button to confirm each selection.
If the towel dryer is already initialized, press the M button, then OK-Boost, and use (+) and (-) to modify the hour and minutes. Press OK-Boost again to confirm.

5.2. Selecting Operating Modes (Comfort, Eco, Frost Protection)
To select your desired operating mode, briefly press the OK-Boost button. You can cycle through Comfort, Eco, Pilot Wire (P), and Frost Protection modes.
- Comfort Mode: Set your preferred temperature.
- ECO Mode: Maintains a temperature 3.5°C lower than Comfort mode.
- Frost Protection Mode: Maintains a temperature of approximately 7°C to prevent freezing.
- Pilot Wire Mode (P): For external central thermostat control.
5.3. Keypad Lock and Window Detection
Press and hold the M button to access advanced settings. From this menu, you can:
- Keypad Lock: Select the key icon and press OK-Boost to activate/deactivate.
- Window Detection: Select the window icon and press OK-Boost. Use (+) or (-) to select "ON" or "OFF", then press OK-Boost to confirm.
5.4. Personalized Programs (P1-P7)
The towel dryer offers 7 customizable daily programs (P1 to P7). Each program allows you to define Comfort or Eco mode for each hour of the day.
- A double black rectangle indicates Comfort mode.
- A single black rectangle indicates Eco mode.
To select a predefined program:
- Press the M button.
- Use (+) or (-) to navigate to the program selection (P1-P7).
- Press OK-Boost to confirm your choice for the current day.
- Repeat for each day of the week.
To personalize a program:
- Press the M button.
- Use (+) or (-) to navigate to the program you wish to customize.
- Press and hold OK-Boost for at least 3 seconds to enter the customization menu.
- For each hour, use (-) for Eco mode and (+) for Comfort mode.
- Repeat this process for all 24 hours.
5.5. Boost Mode (bSt1-bSt4)
The Boost mode allows the towel dryer to heat for a predefined duration. To activate Boost mode, the appliance must be set to 29°C.
- bSt1: Heats for 1 hour.
- bSt2: Heats for 2 hours.
- bSt3: Heats for 1 hour with blower (for models with blower).
- bSt4: Heats for 2 hours with blower (for models with blower).
To activate Boost mode:
- Set the temperature to 29°C using the (+) button.
- Press and hold the OK-Boost button for more than 3 seconds. The Boost mode options will appear.
- Use the (+) button to select the desired Boost mode (bSt1, bSt2, bSt3, or bSt4).
Note: Only towel dryers equipped with a blower feature Boost modes bSt3 and bSt4. Models without a blower will only have bSt1 and bSt2.
6. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and longevity of your towel dryer.
- Ensure the appliance is switched off and disconnected from the power supply before cleaning.
- Clean the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Do not spray water directly onto the control panel or electrical components.
