Setup Instructions

1. Attach the Desk Base Mount: Securely fasten the desk base mount to a flat desk edge. The clamp is compatible with surfaces up to 2.16 inches (5.5 cm) thick. Ensure the clamp is tightened firmly to prevent wobbling.

2. Install the Arm Stand: Insert the base of the arm stand into the hole on the desk base mount. Tighten the securing knob on the base mount to hold the arm stand in place.
3. Connect the Ring Light: Attach the ring light assembly to the top of the arm stand. Ensure it is securely fastened.
4. Power Connection: Connect the USB cable from the ring light to a 5V/2A or higher power adapter (not included). A laptop USB port (typically 5V/1A) is not recommended as it may cause intermittent light operation. The voltage must be exactly 5V.
5. Insert Your Phone: Gently expand the phone holder located within the ring light and place your smartphone inside. Ensure the phone is held securely.

Operating Instructions

Ring Light Control

The ring light is controlled via an inline remote on the USB cable:

• Power Button: Press to turn the light on or off.
• Mode Switch Button: Cycle through 3 color modes: White Light (6500K), Natural Light (4500K), and Warm Light (2800K).
• Brightness Buttons (+/-): Adjust brightness across 10 levels (10% to 100%) for each color mode.

Adjusting Position and Angle

The arm stand and phone holder offer extensive flexibility for precise positioning:

• Arm Stand: Features a 360° rotatable base, 135° back-and-forth extension, and 180° vertical tilt. Loosen the knobs on the arm joints to adjust, then tighten to secure.
• Phone Holder: The phone mount within the ring light can rotate 360° horizontally and tilt 180° vertically, allowing for optimal phone orientation.

Wireless Remote Shutter

The included wireless remote shutter allows you to capture photos or start/stop recordings remotely. It is compatible with most iOS and Android devices.

1. Pairing: Turn on the remote. On your smartphone, go to Bluetooth settings and pair with the device named 'AB Shutter3'.
2. Usage: Once paired, press the appropriate button on the remote (iOS or Android) to trigger your phone's camera shutter.

Note: The remote control is for camera shutter operation only and does not control the ring light's brightness or modes.

• Wireless Remote Shutter Not Connecting/Working:

  • Remember the remote only controls the camera shutter, not the light functions.
• Arm Stand or Phone Holder is Not Stable:
