Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the dispenser from its packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
- Placement: Place the dispenser on a stable, level, and dry surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation. Avoid placing near direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Remove the water tank and drip trays, wash them with mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly.
- Install Filter: Insert the provided Aqua Optima (Strix) filter into the designated slot within the water tank according to the filter's instructions.
- Fill Water Tank: Fill the 3.8L detachable water tank with potable water. Do not exceed the maximum fill line. Reattach the water tank securely to the dispenser.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet (220V-240V, 50Hz/60Hz). The dispenser will power on and initiate its self-check.
- Initial Flush: For first-time use or after filter replacement, dispense several cups of water (both hot and cold) to flush the system and remove any air or carbon dust from the filter. Discard this water.
Operating Instructions
The control panel allows selection of temperature and volume. Refer to the display for current settings and indicators.
- Power On: Once plugged in, the dispenser is in standby mode. Press the power button (if available, or touch the display) to activate.
- Select Temperature: Use the temperature selection buttons to choose from: Cold, Room Temperature, 45°C, 55°C, 65°C, 75°C, 85°C, or 100°C.
- Select Volume: Use the volume selection buttons to choose from: 100ml, 200ml, 300ml, 400ml, or Continuous Flow.
- Child Lock (Hot Water): For hot water temperatures, the child lock feature will automatically engage. Press and hold the child lock button (or follow on-screen prompts) to unlock before dispensing hot water.
- Dispense Water: Place a cup on the drip tray. Press the dispense button. The dispenser will heat/cool and dispense the selected volume of water. For continuous flow, press the dispense button again to stop.
- Low Water Level Indicator: The dispenser will indicate when the water level in the tank is low, prompting for refilling.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your water dispenser.
- Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Cleaning the Water Tank: Remove the water tank and wash it with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Dry completely before reattaching.
- Cleaning Drip Trays: Empty and clean the detachable drip trays regularly to prevent overflow and bacterial growth.
- Filter Replacement: The dispenser will provide a reminder for filter replacement. Replace the Aqua Optima (Strix) filter according to the manufacturer's instructions, typically every 1-2 months depending on water usage and quality. Refer to the filter packaging for specific guidance.
- Descaling: The dispenser will indicate when descaling is required. Follow the descaling instructions provided in the full product manual or contact customer support for guidance. Descaling helps remove mineral buildup, especially in hard water areas.
- Storage: If storing the dispenser for an extended period, drain all water from the tank and internal components. Clean and dry all parts thoroughly. Store in a cool, dry place.
