4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Earbuds

Before first use, fully charge your earbuds. A full charge typically takes a few hours.

1. Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the charging port on the inline control module of the earbuds.
2. Connect the larger end of the USB charging cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
3. The indicator light on the control module will illuminate during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged.

4.2 Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

To connect your earbuds to a smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device:

1. Ensure the earbuds are charged and turned off.
2. Press and hold the multi-function button on the control module for approximately 5-7 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue, indicating pairing mode.
3. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
4. Search for available devices. The earbuds will appear as "Heyday Earbuds" or a similar name.
5. Select the earbuds from the list to connect. Once connected, the indicator light will typically flash blue slowly or turn off.
6. If prompted for a password, enter "0000".

Note: The earbuds will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if that device's Bluetooth is active and within range (up to 33 feet).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the multi-function button for 3 seconds.
• Power Off: Press and hold the multi-function button for 3 seconds.

5.2 Music Playback

• Play/Pause: Press the multi-function button once.
• Next Track: Press and hold the "+" button.
• Previous Track: Press and hold the "-" button.
• Volume Up: Press the "+" button once.
• Volume Down: Press the "-" button once.

5.3 Call Management

• Answer/End Call: Press the multi-function button once during an incoming call or active call.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the multi-function button for 2 seconds during an incoming call.
• Redial Last Number: Double-press the multi-function button.

6. Maintenance and Care

• Keep the earbuds dry. Do not expose them to water or moisture.
• Clean the earbuds and ear tips regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and dusty environments.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the earbuds. This will void the warranty.
• Store the earbuds in a clean, dry place when not in use.
