Introduction

Thank you for choosing the KLIM Boombox E1. This portable audio system is designed to provide high-quality sound with versatile playback options, including CD, Bluetooth, FM Radio, AUX, and USB. It features a built-in subwoofer for enhanced bass and a rechargeable battery for portability. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper use and maintenance of your device.

Safety Instructions

• Do not expose the device to rain, moisture, or extreme temperatures.
• Avoid placing the device near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
• Use only attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
• Unplug the device during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
• Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
• Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.

Controls and Ports

1. VOL- / VOL+ Buttons: Adjust volume level.
2. CD/USB/EQ Button: Switch between CD and USB modes, or cycle through equalizer presets.
3. Previous Track / Rewind Button: Skip to the previous track or rewind within a track.
4. Play/Pause Button: Play or pause current audio.
5. Next Track / Fast Forward Button: Skip to the next track or fast forward within a track.
6. MODE/STANDBY Button: Cycle through input modes (CD, Bluetooth, FM, AUX, USB) or put the device into standby.
7. CD Compartment: Top-loading CD player.
8. LED Display: Shows current mode, track number, time, and battery indicator.
9. USB Port: For playing MP3 files from a USB drive.
10. AUX Input: 3.5mm jack for connecting external audio devices.
11. DC IN Port: For connecting the power adapter.
12. FM Antenna: Extendable antenna for FM radio reception.

Setup

Powering On and Charging

The KLIM Boombox E1 can be powered by the included AC adapter or its internal rechargeable battery.

• AC Power: Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the unit and plug the other end into a standard wall outlet.
• Battery Power: The unit comes with a built-in rechargeable Lithium Ion battery. To charge, connect the power adapter. The battery indicator on the LED display will show charging status. A full charge provides approximately 8 hours of playtime.

Initial Setup

Press the MODE/STANDBY button to turn on the device. The LED display will light up, indicating the current mode.

Operating Instructions

CD Playback

1. Open the CD compartment cover gently.
2. Place a CD (CD-R/RW, MP3 CD compatible) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
3. Close the CD compartment cover.
4. Press the MODE/STANDBY button until "CD" mode is selected. The unit will begin reading the disc.
5. Press the Play/Pause button to start playback.
6. Use the Previous Track / Rewind and Next Track / Fast Forward buttons to navigate tracks.

Bluetooth Mode

1. Press the MODE/STANDBY button until "BT" (Bluetooth) mode is selected. The display will show "BT" and flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet and search for "KLIM Boombox E1".
3. Select "KLIM Boombox E1" from the list of available devices to pair. Once connected, the "BT" indicator will stop flashing.
4. You can now stream audio wirelessly from your device.

FM Radio Mode

1. Press the MODE/STANDBY button until "FM" mode is selected.
2. Extend the FM antenna fully for optimal reception.
3. Press and hold the Play/Pause button to auto-scan and save available FM stations.
4. Use the Previous Track / Rewind and Next Track / Fast Forward buttons to cycle through saved stations.

AUX Input Mode

1. Connect one end of the included AUX cable to the AUX IN port on the boombox and the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone).
2. Press the MODE/STANDBY button until "AUX" mode is selected.
3. Control playback and volume from your external device.

USB Playback

1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port.
2. Press the MODE/STANDBY button until "USB" mode is selected, or press the CD/USB/EQ button if already in CD mode. The unit will automatically detect and begin playing MP3 files.
3. Use the Previous Track / Rewind and Next Track / Fast Forward buttons to navigate tracks.

Using the Remote Control

The included remote control provides convenient access to all functions from a distance. Ensure the AAA batteries are correctly inserted.

• Power Button: Turn the unit on/off.
• Mode Button: Cycle through input modes.
• EQ Button: Cycle through equalizer presets (Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classic, Flat).
• Volume +/-: Adjust volume.
• Play/Pause, Previous/Next, Fast Forward/Rewind: Control playback.
• Repeat Button: Repeat current track or all tracks.
• 10+ Button: Skip forward by 10 tracks (for CD/USB).

EQ Settings

Press the EQ button on the unit or remote control to cycle through different equalizer presets: Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classic, and Flat. Choose the setting that best suits your audio preference.

Maintenance

Cleaning

• Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
• For the CD lens, use a specialized CD lens cleaner disc.

Battery Care

• To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
• If storing the unit for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% and store in a cool, dry place. Recharge every 3-6 months.

Storage

When not in use, store the boombox in a clean, dry environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
