5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation and Removal

  1. Installation: Align the battery pack with the tool's battery port. Slide the battery pack into the tool until it clicks securely into place. Ensure it is fully seated.
  2. Removal: Press the battery release button (usually located on the battery pack itself) and slide the battery pack out of the tool.

Important: Ensure the battery is fully charged before use. This tool is compatible with DeWalt 20V batteries.

5.2 Socket Attachment and Removal

  1. Attachment: Push the desired 1/2-inch square drive socket firmly onto the anvil of the impact wrench until it locks into place. The hog ring design provides a secure fit.
  2. Removal: Pull the socket firmly off the anvil.
