1. Product Overview
This manual provides instructions for the FORSINING P1410 Mechanical Men's Watch. This timepiece features an automatic self-winding movement, a moon phase indicator, and sub-dials for date and day of the week. It is designed for daily wear and offers a blend of traditional watchmaking with practical functions.

2. Initial Setup
2.1 Unboxing and Inspection
Upon receiving your watch, carefully remove it from its packaging. Inspect the watch for any visible damage. Ensure all protective films are removed from the crystal and case back.
2.2 Initial Winding
This watch features an automatic mechanical movement and does not require a battery. For initial use or after a period of inactivity, manually wind the watch:
- Locate the crown on the right side of the watch case.
- Ensure the crown is in its fully pushed-in position (Position 0).
- Rotate the crown clockwise approximately 20-30 times. This will build up the initial power reserve.
- The watch will then self-wind with natural wrist movement during wear. A full power reserve lasts approximately 45 hours.

2.3 Setting Time, Date, and Day
The watch has a main crown for time adjustment and two push-buttons for date and day adjustment.
- Setting Time:
- Pull the crown out to Position 1 (farthest out).
- Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands clockwise until the correct time is displayed.
- Push the crown back into Position 0 to start the watch.
- Setting Date:
- Locate the date calendar button (typically on the lower right side of the case, near 4 o'clock).
- Use a small, non-sharp tool (like a toothpick) to gently press this button repeatedly until the correct date is shown on the date sub-dial.
- Setting Day of the Week:
- Locate the weekly calendar button (typically on the upper right side of the case, near 2 o'clock).
- Use a small, non-sharp tool to gently press this button repeatedly until the correct day of the week is shown on the day sub-dial.
- Setting Moon Phase:
- The moon phase indicator typically advances with the main time setting. Adjust the main time hands past 12 AM/PM to observe the moon phase change.
- Some models may have a dedicated pusher for moon phase, but for this model, it's usually linked to the time.
Important: Avoid adjusting the date or day between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this is when the watch's internal mechanisms are engaged in changing these indicators, and manual adjustment can cause damage.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Automatic Movement
The FORSINING P1410 watch is powered by an automatic mechanical movement. This means it is wound by the natural motion of your wrist. When worn regularly (8-10 hours a day), the watch will maintain its power reserve. If the watch is not worn for an extended period, it may stop and will need to be manually wound as described in Section 2.2.

3.2 Moon Phase Indicator
The sub-dial at the 12 o'clock position displays the moon phase, indicating whether it is day or night. This indicator advances automatically with the main time. The sun symbol typically represents daytime, and the moon/stars represent nighttime.
3.3 Date and Day Sub-dials
The sub-dial at the 9 o'clock position indicates the day of the week (e.g., MON, TUE, WED). The sub-dial at the 3 o'clock position displays the date (1-31). These are adjusted using the dedicated push-buttons as described in Section 2.3.

3.4 Luminous Display
The hands and hour markers of the watch are treated with a luminous material. After exposure to light, they will glow in low-light conditions, allowing for readability in the dark.

4. Care and Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and strap regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stainless steel bands, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
4.2 Water Resistance
This watch is rated for 3ATM (30 meters) water resistance. This means it is suitable for daily use, such as splashes, rain, and hand washing. It is not suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, diving, or any water activities involving submersion or high-pressure water. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

4.3 Storage
When not wearing the watch for an extended period, store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields. For automatic watches, a watch winder can be used to keep the movement running and maintain lubrication.
5. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Watch stops or runs intermittently. | Insufficient power reserve. | Manually wind the watch by rotating the crown clockwise 20-30 times. Wear the watch regularly to allow the automatic movement to self-wind. |
| Date/Day does not change or changes incorrectly. | Incorrect setting or adjustment during restricted hours. | Avoid adjusting date/day between 9 PM and 3 AM. Re-adjust the date and day using the push-buttons during non-restricted hours. Ensure the main time is set correctly (AM/PM). |
| Condensation inside the watch. | Exposure to extreme temperature changes or water ingress. | If minor, it may dissipate. If persistent or severe, seek professional watch repair immediately to prevent damage to the movement. Avoid hot water exposure. |
| Watch runs too fast or too slow. | Magnetization or need for regulation. | Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields. If the issue persists, the watch may need to be demagnetized or regulated by a professional watchmaker. |
