1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the PELONIS 16-inch Space Heater. This portable ceramic heater is designed to provide efficient and comfortable warmth for your indoor spaces, including bedrooms, living rooms, and offices. Featuring advanced PTC ceramic heating technology, it delivers rapid and consistent heat distribution. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure safe and optimal performance of your device.

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

• Read all instructions before using this heater.
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
• Always unplug heater when not in use.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
• Do not use outdoors.
• This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
• To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• This heater includes an ETL-listed enhanced safety plug, tip-over protection, and overheat protection. It is constructed with UL94 V-0 flame-retardant materials for maximum safety.

4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heater and all packaging materials from the box. Retain packaging for future storage.
2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there are no obstructions within 3 feet (0.9 m) of the front, sides, and rear of the heater. Do not place on soft surfaces like beds or thick carpets where air inlets may be blocked.
3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord directly into a 120V AC, 60Hz wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel and Remote Control

The heater can be operated using the control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control. The LED digital display shows current settings.

5.2 Power On/Off

• Press the Power button (U) on the control panel or remote to turn the heater ON or OFF.

5.3 Temperature Adjustment

• Press the "+" or "-" buttons to set your desired temperature between 41°F and 95°F. The heater will automatically maintain the set temperature.

5.4 Heating Modes and ECO Mode

• The heater offers two heating levels: 1300W (H1) and 1500W (H2).
• Press the Mode button to cycle through heating levels.
• ECO Mode: Activate ECO mode to automatically adjust heating power based on the ambient temperature, saving energy.

5.5 Oscillation Function

• Press the Oscillation button (~) to activate the 75° wide-angle oscillation, distributing heat across a larger area. Press again to stop oscillation.

5.6 Timer Function

• Press the Timer button to set the auto-off timer for up to 12 hours. Each press increases the timer by 1 hour. The display will show the set time.

5.7 Quiet Operation

The heater operates at a low noise level of 32dB, ensuring a peaceful environment for sleep or work.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Always unplug the heater from the power outlet and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.

• Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater.
• Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or flammable liquids to clean the heater.
• Gently vacuum the air intake and exhaust grilles to remove dust and lint.
• Never immerse the heater in water or allow water to drip into the interior.

6.2 Storage

If the heater will not be used for an extended period:

• Unplug the heater and allow it to cool.
• Clean the heater as described above.
• Store the heater in its original packaging in a cool, dry place.
