1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your Empowered PC Mantis V2 Gaming Desktop PC. Please read this manual thoroughly before using your new system.

2. Setup Guide

2.1 Unboxing and Initial Placement

1. Carefully remove the PC from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future transport or warranty claims.
2. Place the PC on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation. Ensure there is sufficient space around the rear and top of the case for airflow.
3. Remove any protective films or internal packing materials from the PC.

2.2 Connecting Peripherals

Connect your monitor, keyboard, mouse, and other peripherals to the appropriate ports on the rear and top of the PC.

• Monitor: Connect your monitor using an HDMI or DisplayPort cable to the graphics card ports located at the rear of the PC.
• Keyboard and Mouse: Connect the included USB keyboard and mouse to any available USB ports.
• Power: Connect the power cable to the power supply unit (PSU) at the rear of the PC and then to a wall outlet.
• Network: For internet access, connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN port or ensure your Wi-Fi antenna is connected for wireless connectivity.

2.3 First Boot and Operating System Setup

1. Press the power button on the top panel of the PC.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Windows 11 Pro setup process. This typically involves selecting your region, language, creating a user account, and connecting to a network.
3. Once Windows is set up, it is recommended to install any available updates for the operating system and drivers.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press the power button located on the top panel of the PC.
• Power Off: To shut down the system, click the Start button in Windows, then select Power > Shut down. Avoid directly holding the power button to turn off the PC unless absolutely necessary, as this can lead to data loss or system instability.

3.2 RGB Lighting Control

The Mantis V2 PC features customizable RGB lighting on its fans and front panel. Use the dedicated LED button on the top panel (refer to Figure 2.1) to cycle through various lighting modes and colors. Additional software may be available for more advanced customization.

3.3 Fan Speed Control

The PC is equipped with 6 ARGB PWM fans. These fans automatically adjust their speed based on system temperatures to optimize cooling and minimize noise. Manual control options may be available through motherboard BIOS settings or dedicated software.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning the PC

• Exterior: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces of the PC. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Dust Filters: The top panel features a magnetic dust filter. Regularly remove and clean this filter to prevent dust buildup and maintain optimal airflow.

• Internal Components: Periodically, and with the PC powered off and unplugged, use compressed air to gently clear dust from internal components, especially fans and heatsinks. Exercise caution to avoid damaging delicate parts.

4.2 Software Updates

Regularly update your operating system, drivers (especially graphics drivers), and security software to ensure optimal performance, stability, and protection against vulnerabilities.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Mantis V2 PC, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• No Power: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the PC and the wall outlet. Verify the power switch on the PSU (located at the rear of the PC) is in the 'On' position.
• No Display: Check that your monitor is powered on and correctly connected to the graphics card ports. Try a different display cable or monitor if available. Ensure the monitor input source is correctly selected.
• System Freezes/Crashes: Ensure all drivers are up to date. Monitor system temperatures during heavy load to rule out overheating. If issues persist, consult the operating system's troubleshooting tools or contact support.
• Peripheral Not Working: Try connecting the peripheral to a different USB port. Ensure drivers for the peripheral are installed.
