Safety Information

  • Always ensure the flagpole is securely installed to prevent accidental falls or damage.
  • Retract the flagpole during strong winds exceeding 40 mph to prevent damage to the pole, flag, or surrounding property.
  • When installing the ground sleeve, ensure the hole is deep enough (suggested deeper than 15 inches) and properly secured with concrete or compacted soil for stability.
  • Avoid over-tightening the base bolts if using a tire mount, as this may cause damage.
  • Keep children and pets away from the flagpole during installation and operation.

Setup Instructions

1. Ground Sleeve Installation (for inground use)

  1. Dig a hole in the desired location. It is suggested to dig a hole deeper than 15 inches for enhanced stability.
  2. Insert the heavy-duty PVC sleeve into the hole. Ensure it is level and plumb.
  3. Fill the surrounding area with concrete or compacted soil to firmly secure the PVC sleeve. Allow adequate time for concrete to cure if used.
  4. Once the sleeve is secure, the flagpole can be inserted.

2. Tire Mount Base Installation (for portable use)

  1. Position the assembled tire mount base in front of your vehicle's wheel.
  2. Drive your vehicle fully onto the base to secure it. Ensure there is a small space between the pole and the vehicle to prevent scratching.
  3. Insert the flagpole into the designated opening on the tire mount base.
  4. Tighten the base bolts to hold the flagpole in place. Do not overtighten to avoid damaging the joint.

3. Flag Attachment

  1. Attach the stainless steel clips to the grommets on your flag.
  2. Secure the clips to the hooks located on the flagpole sections. The flagpole includes 360° rotating rings to prevent the flag from tangling.

4. Extending the Flagpole

  1. The flagpole features a twist-lock design for extension.
  2. To extend a section, twist the black nylon clamp counter-clockwise to unlock it.
  3. Gently pull the section upwards to the desired height.
  4. Twist the black nylon clamp clockwise to lock the section firmly in place. Repeat for all sections until the desired height is reached.

5. Retracting the Flagpole

  1. To retract a section, twist the black nylon clamp counter-clockwise to unlock it.
  2. Gently push the section downwards until it is fully retracted.
  3. Twist the black nylon clamp clockwise to lock the section in its retracted position. Repeat for all sections.

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Flag-Flying Height

The telescoping design allows for flexible height adjustment. Follow the extension and retraction steps to set your flag at the ideal height. The elastic fasteners at each joint prevent accidental collapse while ensuring easy unlocking.

Flying Multiple Flags

The flagpole is designed to fly up to two flags simultaneously. Utilize the multiple stainless steel clips and rotating rings to attach both flags, ensuring they do not tangle.

Maintenance

  • Regularly inspect the flagpole sections and locking mechanisms for any signs of wear or damage.
  • Clean the flagpole periodically with mild soap and water to remove dirt and grime, especially after exposure to harsh weather conditions.
  • Ensure the rotating rings are free from debris to prevent flag tangling.
  • If the flagpole sections become difficult to extend or retract, apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the inner surfaces.
  • Check the tightness of the Allen key screws on the clamps occasionally and adjust as needed.

Troubleshooting

Flagpole Cannot Be Locked

If a flagpole section cannot be locked securely, it may be due to insufficient tightening. We recommend wearing rubber gloves for better grip and twisting the clamp firmly in the clockwise direction until it is secure. If the issue persists, use the provided Allen key to adjust the tension of the buckle as needed.

Flag Tangling

The flagpole is equipped with 360° rotating rings to minimize tangling. Ensure these rings are clean and move freely. If tangling occurs, check for any obstructions or debris in the rings.

Pole Swaying in Wind

While the flagpole is designed for durability, excessive swaying in strong winds can occur if the ground installation is not sufficiently firm. For inground installations, ensure the PVC sleeve is deeply set and secured with concrete. For tire mount bases, confirm the vehicle's tire is fully on the base and the base bolts are tightened appropriately (without overtightening).
