1. Important Safety Information
Read this manual carefully before installing and using the Moni i-Size Start car seat. Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death to your child.
- This car seat is designed for children with a height between 76 cm and 150 cm (approximately 15 months to 12 years old) and a maximum weight of 36 kg.
- Always secure your child in the car seat, even for short journeys.
- Ensure the car seat is correctly installed and secured in the vehicle before each use.
- Never leave your child unattended in the car seat.
- Do not use the car seat if it has been involved in an accident, even if there is no visible damage. Internal damage may compromise its safety.

3. Setup and Installation
This car seat is installed using the vehicle's 3-point seat belt and the top tether strap. Ensure your vehicle is equipped with a top tether anchor point.
3.1. Installing the Car Seat
- Place the car seat on the desired vehicle seat.
- Route the vehicle's 3-point seat belt through the designated belt guides on the car seat. Refer to the labels on the car seat for correct routing.
- Buckle the vehicle's seat belt and pull it taut to remove any slack. Ensure the car seat is firmly secured and does not move excessively.
- Attach the top tether strap hook to the vehicle's top tether anchor point. Tighten the top tether strap until it is taut, ensuring the car seat is pulled firmly against the vehicle seat back.

3.2. Adjusting the Headrest
The headrest can be adjusted to 13 different height positions to accommodate your child's growth.
- Locate the headrest adjustment lever, typically at the top or back of the headrest.
- Squeeze or lift the lever and simultaneously move the headrest up or down.
- Release the lever once the headrest is at the correct height. The shoulder straps of the 5-point harness should be at or just below your child's shoulders.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Securing Your Child with the 5-Point Harness (for children 76-105 cm)
- Place your child in the car seat.
- Bring the two buckle tongues together and insert them into the central buckle until you hear a click.
- Pull the harness adjustment strap to tighten the harness. Ensure the harness is snug against your child's body, with no slack. You should not be able to pinch any excess webbing at the shoulder.
- To release the harness, press the red button on the central buckle.

4.2. Using the Car Seat as a High-Back Booster (for children 100-150 cm)
Once your child reaches 100 cm in height, the 5-point harness can be removed, and the child can be secured using the vehicle's 3-point seat belt.
- Remove the 5-point harness system according to the instructions in the separate harness removal guide (if provided) or by carefully unthreading it from the seat.
- Place your child in the car seat.
- Route the vehicle's 3-point seat belt over your child and through the designated red belt guides on the car seat. The lap belt should sit low on the hips, and the shoulder belt should rest across the center of the shoulder and chest.
- Buckle the vehicle's seat belt and ensure it is snug and correctly positioned.

5. Maintenance
5.1. Cleaning the Fabric Cover
The fabric cover of the Moni i-Size Start car seat is removable and washable.
- Carefully remove the fabric cover from the car seat.
- Wash the cover according to the care label instructions, typically a gentle cycle with cold water. Do not bleach or tumble dry.
- Allow the cover to air dry completely before reattaching it to the car seat.
5.2. Cleaning the Harness and Plastic Parts
- Wipe plastic parts with a damp cloth and mild soap.
- Clean the harness straps with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners, as these can weaken the webbing.
- Ensure all parts are dry before reassembly or use.
6. Troubleshooting
