  2. Ensure the connection is secure to prevent air leakage during measurement.

4. Operation

4.1 Preparing for Measurement

For accurate readings, follow these guidelines:

4.2 Applying the Arm Cuff

The cuff should be applied directly to bare skin for best results.

  1. Slide the cuff onto your upper arm, ensuring the air tube points towards your forearm.
  2. The bottom edge of the cuff should be approximately 2-3 cm (about 2 fingers' width) above your elbow joint.
  3. Wrap the cuff snugly around your arm. It should be tight enough that you can only insert two fingers between the cuff and your arm.
  4. Ensure the artery mark on the cuff (if present) is aligned with your brachial artery (inner side of the upper arm).

4.3 Taking a Measurement

Once the cuff is correctly applied and you are in a relaxed position:

  1. Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will begin to inflate automatically.
  2. Remain still and silent during the measurement. Do not talk or move your arm.
  3. The cuff will slowly deflate, and your blood pressure (systolic and diastolic) and pulse rate will be displayed on the screen.
  4. The measurement will automatically be saved to the selected user's memory.
  5. Press START/STOP again to turn off the device, or it will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity.
