5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and appearance of your WLIVE dresser.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the frame and top surface with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or wet cloths, as moisture can damage the product.
  • Drawer Care: The fabric drawers can be removed and spot cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Allow them to air dry completely before returning them to the dresser. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
  • Odor Management: If a new product odor persists, remove the drawers and air them out in a well-ventilated area for a few days.
  • Stability Check: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary.

6. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter.

  • Difficulty with Assembly: If you find assembly challenging, particularly with tightening screws or attaching handles, ensure you are using the correct tools and applying sufficient force. For stubborn screws, a personal screwdriver may offer better leverage than the included tool.
  • Drawers Not Sliding Smoothly: Check that the frame is assembled correctly and is not warped. Ensure no foreign objects are obstructing the drawer paths.
  • Dresser is Unstable: If using adjustable feet, ensure they are properly adjusted to level the unit. If using casters, make sure the lockable casters are engaged when the dresser is stationary. Verify all frame connections are tight.
  • New Product Odor: As mentioned in the safety and maintenance sections, new fabric drawers may have an odor. Ventilate the drawers in a well-aired space for several days before use.
  • USB Ports Not Working: Ensure the dresser's power cord is securely plugged into a functional wall outlet. Check if the device you are trying to charge is compatible and its charging cable is working correctly.
