  3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Wash all removable accessories (baskets, pans, racks, rotisserie set, divider, crumb tray) with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
  4. First Use Burn-Off: It is recommended to run the oven empty for about 15-20 minutes at 400°F (200°C) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal. Ensure the area is well-ventilated during this process.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet.

Single Zone vs. Dual Zone Cooking:

Your oven offers flexibility for cooking different quantities and types of food.

  • Single Zone: For large batches, remove the divider. Use the large frying basket, baking pan, or wire rack. The entire 32-quart capacity is available for uniform cooking.
  • Dual Zone: Insert the divider to create two separate cooking chambers. Use the small frying baskets, baking pans, or wire racks. Each zone can be programmed with independent cooking modes, temperatures, and times.

Using the Sync Function:

When cooking in Dual Zone mode, the 'SYNC' button allows you to ensure both zones finish cooking at the same time. After setting the cooking parameters for both zones, press 'SYNC'. The oven will automatically adjust the start time of the zone with the shorter cooking duration so that both complete simultaneously.

Rotisserie Cooking:

The rotisserie function is ideal for cooking whole chickens or roasts up to 5 pounds. Ensure the divider is removed for single-zone cooking. Secure the food onto the rotisserie shaft using the forks. Insert the shaft into the designated slots inside the oven. Select the 'Rotisserie' cooking mode and set the desired temperature and time. Use the fetch tool to safely remove the hot rotisserie assembly after cooking.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Ivation Dual Zone Air Fryer French Door Oven.

  • Before Cleaning: Always unplug the oven from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Crumb Tray: The removable crumb tray should be emptied and cleaned after each use to prevent grease buildup and potential fire hazards. Slide it out from the bottom front of the oven, discard crumbs, and wash with warm, soapy water.
  • Accessories: All removable accessories (baskets, pans, racks, rotisserie set, divider) are dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning. For stubborn food residue, soak them in warm, soapy water before washing.
  • Interior: Wipe the interior walls and heating elements with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as they can damage the non-stick coating (if applicable) or stainless steel surfaces.
  • Exterior: Clean the exterior stainless steel surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For best results, use a stainless steel cleaner. Avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the control panel.
  • Glass Doors: Clean the glass doors with a glass cleaner or a damp cloth.
  • Storage: Ensure the oven is clean and dry before storing. Store in a cool, dry place.
