Setup

Unpacking

  1. Remove all packaging materials, including the foam base and adhesive tape.
  2. Inspect the appliance for any shipping damage. Report any damage to your retailer immediately.
  3. Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.

Placement

  • Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface strong enough to support it when fully loaded.
  • Allow at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space around the back and sides for proper air circulation.
  • Avoid placing the appliance in direct sunlight or near heat sources (e.g., stoves, radiators).
  • This unit is designed for freestanding installation only. Do not recess or build into a cabinet.

Power Connection

  • Before plugging in, allow the appliance to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours to allow the refrigerant to settle.
  • Plug the appliance into a dedicated 115V, 60Hz, 15 Amp grounded electrical outlet.
  • Do not overload the circuit.

Operating Instructions

Convertible Function

This unit can operate as either a refrigerator or a freezer. The conversion is controlled by the temperature dial located inside the unit.

  • Refrigerator Mode: Set the dial towards "REFRIGERATOR" for temperatures ranging from 32°F to 50°F (0°C to 10°C).
  • Freezer Mode: Set the dial towards "FREEZER" for temperatures ranging from -11°F to 10°F (-24°C to -12°C).
  • Conversion Time: Allow approximately 60-120 minutes for the unit to fully convert between modes and reach the desired temperature.

Reversible Door

The door hinges are reversible, allowing you to change the door swing direction to best suit your space and ensure easy access. Refer to the separate door reversal instructions if you wish to change the hinge orientation.

Maintenance

Manual Defrost

This appliance features a manual defrost system. Frost buildup can reduce cooling efficiency. Defrost the unit when frost accumulation reaches approximately 1/4 inch (6 mm) thickness.

  1. Turn the temperature control to "OFF" and unplug the appliance.
  2. Remove all food items and place them in another cooler or freezer.
  3. Leave the door open to allow frost to melt naturally. You can place towels at the bottom to absorb water. Do not use sharp objects or heating devices to speed up defrosting.
  4. Once all frost has melted, clean and dry the interior thoroughly.
  5. Plug the appliance back in and reset the temperature control. Allow it to cool down before returning food items.

Cleaning

  • Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
  • Clean the interior with a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
  • The glass shelves and drawers can be removed for easier cleaning. Wash them with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly.
  • Clean the exterior with a soft cloth dampened with water and a mild detergent.
  • Periodically vacuum the condenser coils at the back of the unit to maintain efficiency.
