Setup Instructions

1. Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain the packaging materials for future transport or storage.

2. Leg Installation (Optional)

The unit can be used as a tabletop device with the included 1-inch feet or as a freestanding unit with the 18-inch floor-standing legs.

  1. If using the 18-inch legs, gently place the unit upside down on a soft, flat surface to avoid scratching.
  2. Screw each leg securely into the designated mounting points on the bottom of the unit. Ensure all legs are tightened to prevent wobbling.
  3. Carefully turn the unit upright and place it on a stable, level surface.

3. Power Connection

Connect the provided power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the unit, then plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.

4. Analog Clock Battery Installation

The analog clock requires one AA battery (included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the clock and insert the battery, observing polarity.

Operating Instructions

General Controls

Familiarize yourself with the control panel on the front of the unit. It includes mode selection buttons, playback controls, and a volume knob.

1. Turntable Operation

  1. Open the dust cover.
  2. Place a vinyl record on the turntable platter.
  3. Select the "VINYL" mode using the mode button.
  4. Set the speed selector (33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM) to match your record.
  5. Gently lift the tonearm and position the stylus over the desired track. Lower the tonearm slowly onto the record. Playback will begin automatically.
  6. The turntable features an auto-stop function at the end of a record. Manually return the tonearm to its rest when finished.

2. CD Player Operation

  1. Insert a CD into the CD slot.
  2. Select the "CD" mode.
  3. Use the playback controls (Play/Pause, Skip, Stop) to manage your music.

3. Cassette Player Operation

  1. Insert a cassette tape into the cassette slot.
  2. Select the "CASSETTE" mode.
  3. Use the playback controls (Play, Fast Forward, Rewind, Stop) to manage your tape.

4. Bluetooth Input (Streaming from Device)

  1. Select the "BLUETOOTH" mode. The unit will enter pairing mode.
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet), search for "Victrola Century Signature+" in the Bluetooth settings.
  3. Select the unit to pair. Once connected, you can stream audio wirelessly.

5. VINYLSTREAM Bluetooth Output (Streaming to Headphones/Speakers)

  1. Ensure your external Bluetooth headphones or speaker are in pairing mode.
  2. While playing vinyl, press and hold the VINYLSTREAM button on the unit. The unit will search for nearby Bluetooth devices.
  3. Once connected, audio from the turntable will be streamed to your external Bluetooth device.

6. Auxiliary Input (AUX)

  1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the 3.5mm AUX IN port using an audio cable (not included).
  2. Select the "AUX" mode. Audio from the connected device will play through the unit's speakers.

7. Headphone Jack Output

For private listening, connect standard 3.5mm headphones to the headphone jack on the front panel. The built-in speakers will mute automatically.

8. RCA Output

To connect the unit to an external amplifier or powered speakers, use RCA cables (not included) to connect the RCA OUT ports on the back of the unit to the corresponding input on your external audio system.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Unit

  • Disconnect the power adapter before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
  • For the turntable stylus, use a soft brush designed for stylus cleaning, brushing gently from back to front.
  • Keep the dust cover closed when not in use to protect the turntable from dust.

Stylus Replacement

The turntable stylus (needle) is a consumable part and will wear out over time. A worn stylus can damage your records and degrade sound quality. Replace the stylus after approximately 500 hours of use or if you notice a decrease in sound quality.
