Cushioning Shock Absorption System

The turntable incorporates three distinct shock absorbers to maintain stability during playback. 4.1 Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully remove the turntable and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Place the turntable on a stable, level surface, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation.
  3. Remove any protective packaging materials from the tonearm and platter.

4.2 Power Connection

  1. Connect the provided power adapter to the DC input port on the back of the turntable.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a suitable wall outlet.

4.3 Stylus Protection Removal

  1. Gently remove the clear plastic stylus protector from the needle before playing a record. Be careful not to bend the stylus.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Playing a Vinyl Record

  1. Place a vinyl record onto the upright platter.
  2. Select the appropriate speed (33.3 RPM or 45 RPM) using the speed selector switch, typically located near the platter or control knob.
  3. Gently lift the tonearm using the cueing lever.
  4. Position the stylus over the desired starting groove of the record.
  5. Slowly lower the tonearm using the cueing lever. The stylus will make contact with the record, and playback will begin.
  6. Adjust the volume using the main control knob.
  7. When the record finishes, the auto-stop function will engage, and the platter will stop spinning. Gently lift the tonearm and return it to its rest.

5.2 Bluetooth Mode

  1. Turn on the turntable. The unit will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing light (refer to specific indicator light in product for exact behavior).
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, PC), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "COOLGEEK Turntable" (or similar name) from the list of devices to pair.
  4. Once paired, the indicator light will become solid, and you can now stream audio wirelessly to the turntable's speakers.
  5. Adjust the volume on both your connected device and the turntable for optimal sound.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Stylus

A clean stylus is crucial for optimal sound quality and to prevent damage to your records. Use a soft brush designed for stylus cleaning, brushing gently from back to front (in the direction of the tonearm's movement).

6.2 Cleaning Records

Always handle records by their edges. Use a carbon fiber brush or a record cleaning solution with a microfiber cloth to remove dust and debris before each play. This helps preserve both your records and the stylus.

6.3 Cleaning the Unit

Wipe the turntable's surface with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
