5. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your DEPSTECH borescope.
5.1 Cleaning the Probe and Lens
After each use, especially in dirty or wet environments, gently wipe the camera probe and lens with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn grime, a small amount of mild soap can be used, followed by a clean, damp cloth. Ensure the lens is free of smudges for clear images.
5.2 Storage
Store the borescope in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Coil the semi-rigid cable loosely to prevent kinks or damage. Keep all accessories together in a protective case if available.
5.3 Battery Care
To maintain battery health, avoid fully discharging the device frequently. Recharge the battery when the low battery indicator appears. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50-70% every few months.
