1. Safety Information

Important: Read all instructions carefully before installation and use. Failure to follow these instructions may result in property damage, personal injury, or death.

• Professional Installation Required: This mini-split AC system requires professional installation. Improper installation can lead to refrigerant leakage, electric shock, fire, or water leakage.
• Electrical Safety: Ensure the unit is properly grounded. All electrical work must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with national and local wiring regulations. Do not use an extension cord.
• Refrigerant: This unit uses R410A refrigerant. Handle with care and ensure proper ventilation during installation and servicing.
• Location: Do not install the unit near heat sources, steam sources, or in areas with flammable or explosive gases. Ensure no obstructions around the inlet and outlet of both indoor and outdoor units.
• Wall Strength: The wall for the indoor unit must be hard, flat, and firm to prevent vibration and noise.
• Outdoor Unit Placement: The outdoor unit must be installed in a firm and flat place to prevent vibration and noise. If installing at a height, operators must wear a safety belt and helmet.

4. Installation Guide

Note: Professional installation is required for this mini-split AC system. The following steps provide a general overview of the installation process.

4.1. Preparation Before Installation

Ensure the installation environment meets the following criteria:

• No heat source or steam source nearby.
• No obstructions around the inlet and outlet of both indoor and outdoor units.
• No smoke, oil, flammable, explosive, or corrosive gases present.
• The wall for the indoor unit must be hard, flat, and firm to avoid vibration and noise.

Indoor unit positioning requirements:

• To ceiling: > 15cm
• To obstacle (sides): > 20cm
• To floor: 230-260cm

4.2. Indoor Unit Installation

1. Fix Mounting Plate: Put the mounting plate on the wall and use a level to ensure it is horizontal. Select the position for at least 5 screws. Use expansion screw kits to firmly fix the plate to the wall.
2. Drill Wall Hole: After determining where the pipe will go through the wall, drill a hole. The wall hole should be inclined outward by 5-10 degrees, with a diameter of 60-80mm. Avoid wires, plumbing, gas, and other sensitive components.
3. Install Connection Cable: Pass the power cable out from the back of the indoor unit and fix it on the terminal board. Fix the cable with a clamp.
4. Knock-out Panel: According to the piping direction, remove the knock-out panel with a knife and remove burrs to prevent the drain pipe from being broken.
5. Connect Refrigerant Piping: Use both hands to turn the pipe in the desired direction. Aim at the pipe center, tighten the taper nut with fingers, then tighten the taper nut with 2 wrenches. It is better to use a torque wrench to tighten the taper nut according to the specified torque values (refer to the table in the video for pipe size to torque conversion).
6. Connect Drain Hose: Connect the drain hose with the water outlet pipe and fix it firmly with adhesive tape. The length should be more than 5cm to prevent water leakage.
7. Wrap Piping: Wrap refrigerant piping, wires, and drain pipe with wrapping tape.
8. Mount Indoor Unit: Put the refrigerant piping out of the wall hole. Push the lower part of the indoor unit until a 'click' sound is heard to make sure the indoor unit is firmly fixed to the wall.
9. Pipe Protecting Ring and Putty: To protect piping and wires, a pipe protecting ring shall be installed and sealed with putty. Ensure the drain hose is sloped down and never put the end of the drain hose in the water.

4.3. Outdoor Unit Installation

1. Select Installation Location: Outdoor unit must be installed in a firm and flat place to prevent vibration and noise. Ensure sufficient clearance: > 20cm to obstruction above, > 30cm to side obstructions, > 10cm air in side, > 200cm air out side.
2. Install Outdoor Unit Bracket: If installing the air conditioner to a higher place, the operator should wear a safety belt and helmet. Use at least 6 expansion bolts to make sure brackets are fixed firmly on the wall.
3. Fix Outdoor Unit: Put the outdoor unit onto the brackets. Use 4 screws to fix the feet of the outdoor unit.
4. Connect Refrigerant Piping: Remove the nut from the stop valves. Aim at the pipe center of the stop valve, tighten the taper nut with fingers, then tighten the taper nut with 2 wrenches. It is better to use a torque wrench to tighten the taper nut according to the specified torque values (refer to the table in the video for pipe size to torque conversion).
5. Fix Cables: Remove the electrical box cover. Fix cables to the terminal board according to the wiring diagram on the E-parts cover. Use a clamp to fix the cables. Must follow the wiring diagram inside the box cover. Put the electrical box cover back.

4.4. Vacuuming and Leak Check

1. Connect Vacuum Pump: Connect the stop valve, charging hose, manifold valve, and vacuum pump as shown in the diagram (refer to video for visual).
2. Vacuumize: Turn on the handle Lo to vacuumize.
3. Pressure Check: Keep pressure for 3-5 minutes after vacuumizing. Make sure pressure springback is ≤0.05MPa.
4. Release Refrigerant: Open the 1/4 liquid valve and remove the charging hose. Open all the liquid valves and gas valves. Screw all the caps and tighten up.

4.5. Trial Operation and Electrical Safety Check

1. Electrical Safety Check: Use a multimeter to test for possible leaking position of the outdoor unit shell during trial operation. If there is electricity leakage, turn off power immediately to do further examination.
2. Water Drain Check: Remove one filter. Pour in 500ml water along the evaporator for about 20 seconds. Check if water drain can normally flow out and if any water leakage is around the indoor unit.

5.1. Operating Modes

• Cool Mode: Provides powerful cooling to lower room temperature.
