3. Setup Guide
3.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the camera's built-in 10400 mAh battery using a standard 5V USB charger (not included) for approximately 8-10 hours. The solar panel will maintain the charge after initial setup.
3.2 SIM Card and Micro SD Card Installation
The camera comes with a built-in, non-replaceable SIM card that supports AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon 4G cellular networks. No physical SIM card insertion is required for cellular connectivity.
To enable local video storage, insert a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the designated slot. Ensure the chip faces upwards. A Micro SD card is required for recording and playback without a cloud subscription.

3.3 App Download and Account Creation
- Download the "iCam365" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
- Register for a new account and log in.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or manually entering its ID.
3.4 Mounting the Camera and Solar Panel
Choose a mounting location that provides a clear view of the area you wish to monitor and receives ample direct sunlight for the solar panel. The camera is IP66 waterproof, suitable for outdoor use.
- Attach the mounting bracket to a wall or sturdy surface using the provided screws and wall anchors.
- Secure the camera to the mounting bracket.
- Mount the solar panel in a location that maximizes sun exposure throughout the day. Connect the solar panel cable to the camera's charging port.
- Adjust the camera's angle to cover the desired surveillance area. The camera offers 355° pan and 90° tilt capabilities, which can be controlled via the app after setup.

5. Maintenance
- Solar Panel Cleaning: Periodically clean the solar panel surface with a soft, damp cloth to ensure optimal sunlight absorption and charging efficiency.
- Battery Health: While the solar panel provides continuous power, extreme weather conditions or prolonged periods of low sunlight may affect battery levels. Monitor battery status via the app.
- Firmware Updates: Check the iCam365 app regularly for firmware updates to ensure your camera has the latest features and security enhancements.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Camera Not Connecting to Network
- Ensure the camera's built-in SIM card has an active data plan. Check your subscription status in the iCam365 app.
- Verify that the camera is in an area with sufficient 4G LTE cellular coverage (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon).
- Try restarting the camera by pressing and holding the power button.
- Perform a factory reset by pressing and holding the reset button if issues persist. Note that this will revert settings to default.
6.2 Motion Detection Issues
- Too many false alerts: Adjust the PIR sensitivity settings in the app. Reduce sensitivity for areas with frequent non-human movement (e.g., trees swaying, small animals).
- No alerts: Ensure PIR detection is enabled in the app. Check the camera's field of view and ensure no obstructions are blocking the sensor. Increase sensitivity if necessary.
6.3 Battery Not Charging
- Ensure the solar panel is clean and free from dirt or debris.
- Verify the solar panel is positioned to receive maximum direct sunlight throughout the day.
- Check the connection cable between the solar panel and the camera for any damage or loose connections.
- If the battery is completely depleted, it may require initial charging via a USB power adapter before the solar panel can effectively maintain it.

6.4 Camera Rotation (Pan/Tilt) Not Working
- Ensure the camera has sufficient power.
- Check for any physical obstructions that might be preventing movement.
- Restart the camera and the iCam365 app.
- If the issue persists, a factory reset might be necessary.
