Tikom L9000 Pro

Tikom L9000 Pro Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo Instruction Manual

1. Setup and Initial Use

Follow these steps to prepare your Tikom L9000 Pro for its first cleaning cycle.

1.1 Unpacking and Component Identification

  • Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  • Verify that all items are present: robot vacuum, charging dock, power adapter, side brushes, cleaning tool, dust bin, water tank, and mop pad.

1.2 Charging Dock Placement and Initial Charge

  • Place the charging dock against a wall in an open area, ensuring at least 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) of clear space on both sides and 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) in front.
  • Connect the power adapter to the charging dock and plug it into a power outlet.
  • Place the robot onto the charging dock. Ensure the charging contacts align. The indicator lights will show charging status. Fully charge the robot before its first use, which typically takes approximately 6 hours.

1.3 App Download and Wi-Fi Connection

  • Download the "Tuya Smart" app from your mobile device's app store.
  • Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to register an account and add your Tikom L9000 Pro robot.
  • Ensure your home Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz, as the robot only supports this frequency.

1.4 Mapping and Customization

  • Initiate the mapping process through the Tuya Smart app. The robot will use its 360° LiDAR navigation to create a precise map of your home.
  • The robot can save up to 5 maps, allowing for multi-floor cleaning without re-mapping.
  • Using the app, customize the map by setting virtual walls (up to 20) and no-go zones (up to 14) to restrict the robot from certain areas or prevent mopping on carpets.

1.5 Preparing the Cleaning Area

  • Before each cleaning cycle, remove loose cables, small objects, toys, and fragile items from the floor to prevent entanglement or damage.
  • Ensure curtains or tablecloths do not hang low enough to obstruct the robot.

2. Operating Instructions

Learn how to effectively operate your Tikom L9000 Pro for optimal cleaning performance.

2.3 Suction and Mopping Adjustment

  • Suction Power: Adjust the suction power (up to 6000 Pa) via the app to suit different floor types and cleaning needs. Higher suction is ideal for carpets and heavily soiled areas.
  • Mopping Function: For mopping, fill the 250 ml water tank with clean water and attach the mop pad. Adjust the 3-level electronically controlled water output via the app to control the dampness of the mop pad.

2.5 Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance

The Tikom L9000 Pro utilizes sensitive sensors and LiDAR navigation to efficiently navigate your home. It can easily maneuver through tight spaces, under furniture, and features a fall prevention system to avoid stairs and collisions with objects.

3. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your robot vacuum.

3.1 Dust Bin and Water Tank

  • Dust Bin: Empty the 300 ml dust bin after each cleaning cycle. Press the release button, remove the bin, and discard collected debris.
  • Water Tank: For mopping, refill the 250 ml water tank with clean water as needed. Do not add cleaning solutions to the water tank unless specified by the manufacturer.

3.2 Filters

  • The robot uses a HEPA filter. Regularly clean the filter by tapping it gently to remove dust or using the provided cleaning tool.
  • Replace the HEPA filter periodically, typically every 3-6 months, depending on usage. Refer to the product's maintenance guide for specific replacement intervals.

3.3 Brushes

  • Main Brush: Remove the main brush cover and lift out the main brush. Use the cleaning tool to cut and remove any tangled hair or debris.
  • Side Brushes: Gently pull off the side brushes. Remove any tangled hair or debris. Reattach them, ensuring they click into place.
  • Inspect brushes weekly and replace them if they show signs of significant wear.

3.4 Sensors and Charging Contacts

Wipe the cliff sensors, wall sensors, and charging contacts on both the robot and the charging dock with a clean, dry cloth. This ensures accurate navigation and reliable charging.

3.5 Mop Pad

Remove the mop pad after each mopping session and clean it thoroughly. It can be hand-washed or machine-washed according to care instructions.

4. Troubleshooting

Refer to this section for common issues and their solutions.

  • Robot Not Charging:
Ensure the charging dock is properly plugged into a working outlet. Verify that the robot's charging contacts are clean and align correctly with the dock's contacts. Try restarting the robot and repositioning it on the dock.
  • Robot Getting Stuck:
Clear loose cables, small objects, and thick carpets from the cleaning path. Use the Tuya Smart app to set virtual walls or no-go zones for areas where the robot frequently gets stuck.
  • App Connectivity Issues:
Confirm your home Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Restart your Wi-Fi router and the robot. If issues persist, try re-pairing the device in the Tuya Smart App. Ensure your mobile device is connected to the 2.4GHz network during setup.
  • Mapping Errors or Lost Map:
If the robot's map is inaccurate or has been lost, initiate a new mapping cycle through the app. Ensure the robot has a clear path to explore all areas during mapping.
  • Mopping on Carpets:
Use the Tuya Smart app to define "no-mop zones" or virtual walls specifically for carpeted areas to prevent the robot from mopping them.
  • Reduced Suction or Cleaning Performance:
Check and empty the dust bin. Clean or replace the HEPA filter. Inspect the main brush and side brushes for tangled hair or debris and clean them. Ensure there are no blockages in the suction inlet.
  • Robot Not Returning to Charging Dock:
Ensure the charging dock is accessible and not obstructed. Clean the charging contacts on both the robot and the dock. Verify the dock is powered on.
