Introduction
The Amaran Ace 25c is a compact, full-color on-camera LED light designed for mobile creators. It offers powerful light output, versatile color control, and a travel-ready setup. What's in the Box

Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the Amaran Ace 25c using the provided USB-C charging cable. Connect the USB-C cable to the port on the side of the light and to a compatible USB power adapter. The battery indicator on the display will show charging progress. A full charge from 0-90% typically takes approximately 40 minutes.
Mounting the Light
The Amaran Ace 25c offers versatile mounting options:
- Amaran Ace Lock: Attach the included Amaran Ace Lock to Cold Shoe Adapter to the bottom of the light. This allows for quick and secure mounting onto camera hot shoes or cold shoe mounts on rigs.
- 1/4"-20 Thread: The light features a standard 1/4"-20 thread on the bottom, allowing direct attachment to tripods, light stands, or other accessories with a compatible screw.
- Magnetic Fixation: The back of the light is magnetic, enabling easy attachment to metal surfaces for creative lighting placements.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
Locate the power switch on the side of the unit. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the light. Slide it to the 'OFF' position to power off.
On-Device Controls
The Amaran Ace 25c features a user-friendly color screen and a rotary knob for direct control:
- Rotary Knob: Rotate to adjust brightness (intensity), color temperature (CCT), or hue (HSI). Press to confirm selections or navigate menus.
- Mode Button: Cycle through different lighting modes such as CCT (Correlated Color Temperature), HSI (Hue, Saturation, Intensity), and RGB.
- Shortcut Buttons: Utilize custom shortcuts for quick recall of frequently used settings with a double click or long press.

Lighting Modes
- CCT Mode: Adjust color temperature from 2,300K to 10,000K for various white light tones.
- HSI Mode: Access full-color control to select any hue, saturation, and intensity.
- RGB Mode: Directly control Red, Green, and Blue values for precise color mixing.
- Boost Mode: Achieve up to 32W of powerful light output, delivering 5,908 lux at 0.5m (4,300K).

App Control (Sidus Link / Amaran App)
For advanced control and seamless integration with other Amaran/Aputure lights, download the intuitive Amaran app (or Sidus Link app) from your device's app store. The app allows wireless control over all light functions, including modes, intensity, color, and special effects.

Using the Dome Diffuser
The included Amaran Ace Dome Diffuser magnetically attaches to the front of the light. This diffuser softens the light output, creating a more pleasing and even illumination, ideal for close-up subjects or reducing harsh shadows.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the light, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they may damage the surface or optical components.
Battery Care
The Amaran Ace 25c features a built-in 4500mAh Lithium Ion battery. To maximize battery life and performance:
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Store the light with a partial charge (around 50%) if not used for extended periods.
- The light can also serve as a reverse charging supply to power other devices in emergency situations via its USB-C port.
Cooling System
The Amaran Ace 25c incorporates a super quiet cooling system, maintaining a maximum noise level of 28dB within 1m/3.28ft, even in high-temperature environments. Ensure the fan vents are not obstructed to allow for proper airflow.

Troubleshooting
Light Not Turning On
- Check if the battery is charged. Connect the light to a power source using the USB-C cable.
- Ensure the power switch is fully in the 'ON' position.
App Connectivity Issues
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- Make sure the light is within Bluetooth range.
- Restart both the light and the app.
- Check for app updates in your device's app store.
Overheating
- Ensure the cooling vents are not blocked.
- Reduce the brightness output if operating in a high-temperature environment for extended periods.
