Connectivity Options

The F65 keyboard supports three connection modes: Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, and wired USB-C.

• 2.4GHz Wireless: Connect the included 2.4GHz USB receiver to your device. Press FN + Q to switch to 2.4GHz mode.
• Bluetooth 3.0/5.0: The keyboard supports Bluetooth 3.0 and 5.0. Press FN + E, FN + R, or FN + T to switch between three different Bluetooth profiles. Pair with your device via Bluetooth settings. For users with multiple devices, Bluetooth 3.0 is recommended for greater stability.
• USB-C Wired: Connect the keyboard to your device using the provided USB-C cable. Press FN + Y to switch to wired mode.

Operating Instructions

Basic Keyboard Layout

The F65 features a 65% compact layout with 67 keys, optimizing desk space while retaining essential keys. Familiarize yourself with the key positions for efficient use.

RGB Backlighting Control

The F65 keyboard features vibrant RGB backlighting with 16.8 million colors and an RGB bar on the sides. South-facing LEDs ensure compatibility with Cherry profile keycaps.

• Toggle Backlight Color: Press FN + TAB to cycle through different backlight colors.
• Toggle Backlight Effect: Press FN + \ to cycle through various backlight effects.
• Toggle Sidelight Effect: Press FN + R_SHIFT to change the sidelight effect.
• Toggle Sidelight Color: Press FN + /? to change the sidelight color.
• Adjust Brightness: Press FN + Down Arrow to decrease brightness, FN + Up Arrow to increase brightness.
• Adjust Speed: Press FN + Left Arrow to decrease effect speed, FN + Right Arrow to increase effect speed.

Hot-Swappable Functionality

The F65 features full-key hot-swappable sockets, allowing you to easily change mechanical switches without soldering. This enables customization of your typing experience.

• To remove a switch, use the included switch puller. Gently grip the switch and pull upwards.
• To install a new switch, align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB. Press down firmly until the switch clicks into place. Ensure pins are not bent.
• The PCB is compatible with both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches.

Maintenance

Cleaning Your Keyboard

Regular cleaning helps maintain the performance and appearance of your keyboard.

• Disconnect the keyboard from your device before cleaning.
• Use a keycap puller to remove keycaps for deeper cleaning.
• Use compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keys.
• Wipe keycaps and the keyboard surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid excessive moisture.
• Ensure the keyboard is completely dry before reconnecting.

Battery Care

The F65 is equipped with a 4000mAh battery for extended usage. To prolong battery life:

• Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
• Charge the keyboard using the provided USB-C cable.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your EPOMAKER x Aula F65 keyboard, refer to the following common solutions:

• Keyboard Not Responding:
  • Ensure the keyboard is charged.
  • Check the connection mode (wired, 2.4GHz, Bluetooth) and ensure it matches your device's connection.
  • For 2.4GHz, ensure the USB receiver is properly inserted.
  • For Bluetooth, re-pair the keyboard with your device.

• RGB Backlight Not Working/Incorrect:
