1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the IRIN Electric Flute. This digital wind instrument combines the traditional feel of a flute or saxophone with modern electronic capabilities, offering a versatile and expressive musical experience. 4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the instrument. Connect the provided power adapter to the DC 5V port on the back of the instrument and plug it into a wall outlet. The LED display will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 2-3 hours.

4.2 Attaching the Mouthpiece

Gently insert one of the provided mouthpieces into the top opening of the instrument until it is securely in place. Ensure it is firmly seated to prevent air leakage during play.

4.3 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the power button (usually located near the LED screen) for a few seconds to turn the instrument on. The LED screen will light up. To turn off, press and hold the power button again until the screen goes blank.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Playback

Hold the instrument like a traditional wind instrument. Place your lips on the mouthpiece and blow gently while pressing the keys to produce different notes. Experiment with breath pressure to control volume and dynamics.

5.2 LED Display and Navigation

The LED display shows current settings such as tone, volume, and sensitivity. Use the navigation buttons (often labeled with arrows or +/-) to scroll through options and adjust values.

5.3 Tone Selection

Your IRIN Electric Flute comes with 13 built-in tones, including various flute, saxophone, and other instrument sounds. Navigate to the tone selection menu on the LED display and use the adjustment buttons to cycle through the available tones. Press the confirmation button to select your desired tone.

5.4 Adjustable Blowing Sensitivity

The instrument features 15 levels of adjustable blowing sensitivity. This allows you to customize how responsive the instrument is to your breath, catering to different playing styles and preferences. Adjust this setting via the LED display menu.

5.5 Transposition Function

The transposition function allows you to shift the pitch of the instrument up or down by semitones, ranging from -6 to +6. This is useful for playing in different keys without changing your fingering. Access this feature through the LED display.

5.6 MIDI Output and Connectivity

The IRIN Electric Flute supports MIDI output, allowing you to connect it to a computer or tablet for use with digital audio workstations (DAWs) or music production software. Use a compatible USB cable (not included) to connect the instrument to your device. The instrument can also connect wirelessly to a mobile phone for use with learning applications.

5.7 Headphone and External Speaker Output

For private practice, connect standard 3.5mm headphones to the headphone jack. To amplify your sound, connect the instrument to an external speaker system using an appropriate audio cable (not included).

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean the mouthpiece with a soft, damp cloth. The mouthpiece is removable for thorough cleaning. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Wipe the body of the instrument with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid getting moisture into the electronic components.

6.2 Storage

When not in use, store the IRIN Electric Flute in its provided storage bag to protect it from dust and scratches. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6.3 Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% and recharge every few months.
