Setup

Battery Installation

Your Disney Ultimate Stitch toy comes with 6 AA batteries pre-installed. To ensure full functionality, you may need to switch the toy from 'TRY ME' mode to 'ON' mode.

  1. Locate the battery compartments on the bottom of Stitch's feet.
  2. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, open the battery compartment covers.
  3. Ensure the 6 AA batteries are correctly inserted according to the polarity indicators (+/-).
  4. Replace the battery compartment covers and secure them with the screws.

Activating Full Functionality

On the bottom of one of Stitch's feet, you will find a switch. Slide this switch from the 'TRY ME' position to the 'ON' position for full interactive capabilities.

The Disney Ultimate Stitch offers a wide range of interactions and reactions. Explore his personality through various touch points:

Interactive Touch Points

  • Nose: Tap or press for various reactions.
  • Tongue: Tap or press for unique sounds.
  • Belly: Tap or press for different responses.
  • Left Hand: Hold to soothe Stitch or trigger specific actions.

Stitch's Sweet Side ('Ohana Mode)

To activate Stitch's affectionate side, touch and hold his nose or belly for 2 seconds. He will respond with cute sounds, giggles, songs, dances, and phrases like, "You be my friend!"

Feisty Alien (Tantrum Mode)

To trigger Stitch's feisty side, tap his nose or belly twice. He will snarl, growl, chomp, and spout alien gibberish.

Calming Stitch

If Stitch is in a tantrum, press and hold his hand to soothe him. He will return to happy laughs and sounds within a few seconds.

Sleep Mode

After 5 seconds of inactivity, Stitch will entertain with 30 seconds of random phrases and movements before transitioning into Sleep mode to conserve battery life.

Maintenance

To keep your Disney Ultimate Stitch in optimal condition:

  • Cleaning: Surface clean only. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe away dirt. Do not immerse in water.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.

Troubleshooting

  • Stitch is not responding: Ensure the power switch on his foot is in the 'ON' position. Check if the batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace batteries if necessary.
