3. Getting Started (Setup)

3.1 Charging the Device

3.2 Filling the Pod Cartridge

1. Remove the pod cartridge from the device.
2. Locate and open the silicone plug on the top of the cartridge.
3. Carefully fill the cartridge with your preferred e-liquid through the filling port, avoiding overfilling.
4. Close the silicone plug securely to prevent leakage.
5. For first-time use or with a new cartridge, allow the e-liquid to soak into the coil for 5-10 minutes before vaping. This priming step prevents dry hits and ensures proper coil saturation.

3.3 Installing the Pod Cartridge

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Vaping

The VMATE i2 features an auto-draw activation. Simply inhale through the mouthpiece to activate the device and produce vapor. There are no buttons to press for activation.

4.2 Airflow Adjustment

Locate the airflow slider on the side of the device. Adjust the slider to customize your vaping experience, from a tighter Mouth-to-Lung (MTL) draw to a looser Restricted Direct-to-Lung (RDL) draw.

4.3 Battery Level Indicator

The RGB light bar on the side of the device indicates the current battery level:

• Green: High battery level
• Blue: Medium battery level
• Red: Low battery level (Recharge immediately)

5.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean the device and pod cartridge to ensure optimal performance and hygiene. Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the device body. Clean the pod connection points and mouthpiece to prevent e-liquid residue buildup.

5.2 Pod Cartridge Replacement

Replace the pod cartridge when you notice a burnt taste, reduced vapor production, or diminished flavor. To replace, simply pull out the old cartridge from the device and insert a new one after filling it with e-liquid and allowing it to prime (as described in Section 3.2).

• No Vapor/Weak Vapor:
  • Check battery level and charge if necessary.

  • Check e-liquid level; refill if low.
  • Replace the pod cartridge if the coil is burnt or old.
• Leaking:
  • Ensure the silicone plug on the pod is securely closed after filling.
  • Avoid overfilling the cartridge.

  • Replace the pod cartridge if the issue persists, as the seal might be compromised.
• Liquid in Mouth:
  • Avoid aggressive inhaling.
  • Ensure the e-liquid level is not too high.
  • Clean any condensation from the mouthpiece.

• Charging Issues:
  • Ensure the Type-C cable is properly connected to both the device and the power source.
