3. Setup

The HOPTO mini electric chainsaw is designed for quick and easy assembly, typically within one minute without the need for a screwdriver for initial setup.

Battery Charging:

1. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.
2. Connect the charger to a power outlet and then to the battery.
3. The battery indicator lights will show the charging status.
4. Charging typically takes 60-90 minutes.

Chain and Guide Bar Installation/Replacement:

Follow these steps to install or replace the chainsaw chain and guide bar:

1. Remove the original chain: If replacing, carefully remove the existing chain and guide bar.
2. Install the new chain: Place the new 6-inch chain onto the guide bar, ensuring the cutting teeth are oriented correctly.
3. Attach to saw: Position the guide bar and chain onto the chainsaw body.
4. Adjust tightness: Use the provided screwdriver to adjust the chain tension. The chain should be snug but still able to be pulled freely by hand.
5. Attach side cover: Secure the side cover onto the saw body.
6. Lock side cover: Rotate the knob to firmly lock the side cover in place.
7. Insert battery: Properly insert the charged battery pack into the chainsaw until it clicks into place.
