5. Setup
5.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge your OffGrid 500. This ensures optimal battery performance and calibration.
- Connect the provided AC charging cable to the AC input port on the back of the power station.
- Plug the other end of the AC charging cable into a standard wall outlet.
- The digital display will show the charging status. Charge until the display indicates 100%.
You can also charge via the DC input port using the DC charging cable or an optional solar panel (sold separately).
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Charging the OffGrid 500
The OffGrid 500 offers multiple ways to recharge:
- Wall Charging: Use the AC charging cable connected to a standard wall outlet.
- Car Charging: Use the DC charging cable connected to your vehicle's 12V car outlet.
- Solar Charging: Connect compatible solar panels (sold separately, e.g., PSP100 or PSP200 models) to the DC input port.
For faster charging, you can combine AC and DC charging simultaneously.

6.2 Powering Your Devices
The OffGrid 500 can power up to 12 devices simultaneously through its various output ports:
- AC Outlets: Press the AC power button to activate the three 500W AC outlets. Connect devices requiring standard wall power.
- USB Ports: Connect your USB-A or USB-C devices to the respective ports. The USB-C ports support Power Delivery (PD 60W) and Quick Charge (QC 18W).
- DC Car Port: Connect 12V DC devices to the car port.
- Wireless Charging: Place your Qi-compatible device on the wireless charging pad on top of the unit.
The digital display provides real-time information on input and output wattage, as well as battery percentage.

6.3 Ambient LED Light and SOS Mode
The unit includes an ambient LED light for illumination and an SOS flashing mode for emergencies.
- Press the LED light button (located on the side/back) once for constant illumination.
- Press it again to activate the SOS flashing mode.
- Press a third time to turn off the light.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Battery Care
- To prolong battery life, fully charge the unit at least once every 3-6 months, even if not in use.
- Avoid completely draining the battery frequently.
- The PPS500 uses LG cells engineered to retain over 80% capacity after 1000 charge cycles.
7.2 Storage
- Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Ensure the unit is turned off before storing.
