Setup Guide

1. Charging the Keyboard

Before first use, ensure the keyboard is fully charged. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the keyboard and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).

The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged.

2. Powering On/Off

Locate the power switch on the keyboard (refer to Figure 2). Slide the switch to the "ON" position to power on the keyboard. Slide it to "OFF" when not in use to conserve battery.

3. Connecting to Devices (Dual Wireless Connectivity)

The keyboard supports both Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz RF wireless connections.

Bluetooth Connection:

1. Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
2. Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing key (usually indicated by a Bluetooth icon or a specific F-key, e.g., F1, F2, F3) for a few seconds until the indicator light starts blinking, signifying pairing mode.
3. On your device (tablet, smartphone, laptop), go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
4. Select "Portronics Bubble Dock" (or similar name) from the list.
5. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. The indicator light on the keyboard will stop blinking once connected.

2.4 GHz RF Connection:

1. Locate the 2.4 GHz USB receiver (often stored in a compartment on the keyboard itself).
2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer or device.
3. Ensure the keyboard is powered on and switched to 2.4 GHz mode (if there's a dedicated switch, otherwise it might automatically connect).
4. The keyboard should automatically connect to your device.

4. Multi-Device Pairing

The Portronics Bubble Dock keyboard allows pairing with up to three devices simultaneously via Bluetooth, and one via 2.4 GHz RF.

To pair with multiple Bluetooth devices, repeat the Bluetooth pairing steps (Step 3) for each device, assigning each to a different Bluetooth channel (e.g., F1, F2, or F3 keys). You can then switch between connected devices using the corresponding function keys.

Operating Instructions

1. Using the Tablet Holder

The integrated dock conveniently holds your tablet or smartphone upright, providing an optimal viewing angle for typing and media consumption.

The holder is designed to accommodate most tablets and smartphones, holding devices up to approximately 481 grams horizontally.

2. Switching Between Connected Devices

To switch between paired Bluetooth devices, simply press the corresponding function key (F1, F2, or F3) that the device is assigned to. The keyboard will quickly switch its connection to the selected device.

3. Keyboard Layout and Function Keys

The keyboard features a standard QWERTY layout with additional function keys (F1-F12) that provide quick access to multimedia controls, volume adjustments, and other system functions. These functions are typically accessed by pressing the Fn key in combination with the desired function key.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

To clean the keyboard, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or excessive moisture, which can damage the electronics.

Note: As noted by some users, the white color may show dirt more easily. Regular cleaning is recommended.

2. Battery Care

The keyboard is equipped with a rechargeable battery. To prolong battery life:

• Charge the keyboard fully before first use.
• Avoid completely draining the battery frequently.
• Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
