Safety Instructions

  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

  • The device is IPX6 waterproof and suitable for wet and dry use. However, ensure the device is completely dry before charging. Do not charge in wet conditions.

Setup

1. Charging the Device

  1. Before first use, fully charge the trimmer for approximately 2 hours.
  2. Ensure the trimmer is switched off before connecting the USB charging cable.
  3. Connect the USB cable to the charging base or directly to the trimmer, and plug the other end into a compatible USB power source (e.g., laptop, car charger, power bank, or wall adapter).
  4. The LED display will show charging status. A full charge provides up to 100 minutes of cordless use.

2. Attaching and Detaching Trimmer Heads

  1. To attach a head: Align the desired head with the trimmer body and push it down until it clicks into place.
  2. To detach a head: Press the release button (usually located on the back or side of the head) and pull the head upwards to remove it.

3. Attaching and Adjusting Guide Combs

  1. The hair clipper head uses two adjustable guide combs: Comb A (1-10mm) and Comb B (11-20mm).
  2. To attach a comb: Slide the desired guide comb onto the hair clipper head until it locks securely.
  3. To adjust cutting length: Rotate the dial on the hair clipper head to select your desired length. The dial allows for 41 different length settings in 0.5mm increments.
  4. Ensure the comb is firmly attached and the length setting is correct before use.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

  • To turn on: Press the power button once.
  • To turn off: Press the power button once.

2. Travel Lock Function

  • To activate travel lock: Press and hold the power button for three seconds. The lock icon will appear on the LED display.
  • To deactivate travel lock: Press and hold the power button for three seconds. The lock icon will disappear.
  • The travel lock prevents accidental activation during transport.

3. Using the Trimmer Heads

Select the appropriate head for your grooming task. Always ensure the blades are clean and free of debris before use.

  • Hair Clipper Head: Attach the desired guide comb (A or B) and adjust the length using the dial. Move the trimmer against the direction of hair growth for an even cut.
  • Precision Trimmer Head: Use for detailing beard lines, sideburns, or other precise trimming tasks. Can be used with or without guide combs for specific lengths.
  • Nose Trimmer Head: Gently insert the trimmer tip into the nostril or ear canal. Move it in a circular motion to trim unwanted hair. Do not insert too deeply.
  • Shaver Head: For a close shave on smaller areas or to finish edges. Hold the shaver flat against the skin and move in short, gentle strokes.
  • Body Groomer Head: Use with its dedicated guide comb for trimming body hair. Move smoothly over the skin.

4. Wet and Dry Use

The Hatteker trimmer is designed with IPX6 waterproofing, allowing for both wet and dry use. You can use it in the shower or with shaving foam/gel for a comfortable experience. Always ensure the device is dry before charging.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Trimmer

  1. After each use, turn off the trimmer and detach the head.
  2. Rinse the detached head and the trimmer body under running water. The IPX6 rating allows for easy rinsing of the entire device.
  3. Use the included cleaning brush to remove any stubborn hair or debris from the blades and inside the head.
  4. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reattaching the head or storing the device.

2. Blade Lubrication

For optimal performance and longevity of the blades, it is recommended to apply a small drop of clipper oil to the blades after every few uses, especially after cleaning with water. Turn on the trimmer for a few seconds to distribute the oil evenly.

3. Storage

Store the trimmer and all its accessories in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Use the charging base to keep all components organized.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Trimmer does not turn on. Battery is depleted. Travel lock is activated. Charge the trimmer. Deactivate the travel lock by holding the power button for 3 seconds.
Poor cutting performance. Blades are dull or clogged with hair. Insufficient lubrication. Clean the blades thoroughly. Apply a drop of clipper oil to the blades.
Trimmer stops during use. Battery is low. Recharge the trimmer.
Charging indicator not working. Loose connection. Faulty cable/adapter. Ensure USB cable is securely connected. Try a different USB power source.
