1. Product Overview

This strip operates on DC24V and is 16.4 feet long with 864 LEDs per meter and 24 ICs per meter, with a 12mm width. It is rated IP30 for indoor use.

3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your LED strip. Ensure the installation surface is thoroughly cleaned and dried before applying the strip.

1. Prepare the Surface: Clean the desired installation area to ensure it is free of dust, grease, and moisture. This will ensure optimal adhesion of the strip's self-adhesive backing.
2. Measure and Cut (Optional): If a shorter length is required, the FCOB LED strip can be cut at designated cut marks, which are spaced every 1.64 inches (41.6mm). Use sharp scissors to ensure a clean cut.
3. Connectors: The strip comes with 3PIN connectors on both ends (one female, one male). These allow for end-to-end series connection. Additional connectors (sold separately) can be used for custom configurations or to re-attach cut sections.
4. Apply the Strip: Peel off the protective backing from the self-adhesive tape on the back of the LED strip. Carefully press the strip onto the prepared surface, ensuring firm contact along its entire length.
5. Secure with Clips: Use the provided fixed clips for additional security, especially on uneven surfaces or in areas where the strip might be subject to movement.
6. Connect to Controller and Power Supply: Connect the 3PIN male connector of the LED strip to a compatible WS2811 IC controller (sold separately). Then, connect the controller to a suitable DC24V power supply (sold separately). Ensure the voltage of the power supply matches the strip's requirement.
