4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Placement

Place the pump on a solid, level surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around the motor. The location should be protected from direct sunlight and excessive moisture. Maintain sufficient clearance for maintenance and air circulation.

4.2 Plumbing Connections

The pump is equipped with both 2-inch and 2.5-inch inlet and outlet adapters for versatile connection to your pool's plumbing system. Use appropriate PVC pipe or hose connections, ensuring all joints are sealed properly to prevent leaks.

4.3 Electrical Connection

4.4 Priming the Pump

Before starting the pump for the first time, or after draining, ensure the pump housing is filled with water. This self-priming motor requires initial water to establish flow. Open the filter basket lid, fill with water, and replace the lid securely. The pump will then self-prime once started.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel Overview

5.2 Speed Settings

The pump offers multiple speed settings to optimize energy consumption and performance:

5.3 Timer Function

6. Maintenance

The extra-large filter basket reduces the frequency of cleaning. However, regular inspection and cleaning are crucial for optimal pump performance. Turn off the pump and disconnect power before opening the basket lid. Remove debris and rinse the basket thoroughly. Reinstall the basket and secure the lid.
