4. Setup

4.1. Charging the GAN PowerPod v3

The GAN PowerPod v3 provides extended battery life for your smart cube. Ensure it is fully charged before use. Once fully charged, it can provide an additional 105-120 hours of battery life for the original 15 hours play time of the speed cube.

4.2. App Download and Installation

To unlock the full potential of your GAN 12 ui Maglev, download the CubeStation app from your device's app store. The app allows for online ranking competitions, AI training, and provides intelligent solutions.

4.3. First Connection Tutorial (Bluetooth Pairing)

Follow these steps to connect your smart cube to the CubeStation app:

1. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile device (tablet or smartphone).
2. Open the CubeStation application.
3. Click on the "Device" icon within the app.
4. Click "+ More" to search for new devices.
5. Twist the white side of your GAN 12 ui Maglev cube 4 times in the same direction within 3 seconds to wake it up.
6. Your cube model will appear in the device list. Click "Connect".
7. Once connected, your smart cube is ready for use with the app.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Hand Feel Adjustment

The GAN 12 ui Maglev offers extensive customization for your preferred hand feel. With the GAN Magnetic force GES v2 and GMS v3 systems, you can achieve 216 different tactile experiences, ranging from hard to smooth, and from stretched to tight. The numerical system provides ultra-precise adjustment. The cube also includes strong magnetic and weak magnetic bars to further customize your exclusive hand feeling.

5.2. Magnetic Levitation and Auto-alignment

The GAN 12 ui Maglev incorporates an Omnidirectional core Smart ball shaft 2.0, equipped with 8 omnidirectional axis magnetic particles. Each block contains 76 magnetic particles, contributing to a new era of suspension in smart speed cubes. The magnetic attraction and repulsion facilitate 30° auto-alignment, where the angular magnetic repulsion subsides drag and the magnetic attraction of the edge is lifted by suspension automatic adsorption, speeding up the return position.

• Cube Solution: If you encounter difficulties solving the cube, the app can provide a solution at any time based on your cube's current state.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your GAN 12 ui Maglev Smart Speed Cube, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Regularly wipe the cube's surface with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Battery Care: Keep the GAN PowerPod v3 charged to ensure your cube is always ready. Store the cube and PowerPod in a cool, dry place when not in use.
• Tuning: Use the provided tuning tool to adjust the cube's tension and magnetic settings as needed. The tuning tool allows for precise adjustments, turning once to jump one gear and reaching the right position accurately. A center cap opening tool is also included for easy access.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your GAN 12 ui Maglev Smart Speed Cube, consider the following:

• Connection Issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the cube is awake (twist the white side 4 times). Make sure the cube is within range of your device.
• App Not Recognizing Cube: Close and reopen the CubeStation app. Restart your device's Bluetooth. Ensure the app version is updated to 4.27 or above.
• Battery Depletion: Charge the GAN PowerPod v3. The cube's internal battery lasts approximately 15 hours, with the PowerPod extending it significantly.
