3.1. Controls and Ports

4. Setup

4.1. Powering the Unit

The WTB-777 can be powered by either AC electricity or DC batteries.

AC Power (Household Current)

  3. Plug the other end of the power cord into a standard wall outlet (AC 120V/60Hz).

DC Power (Batteries)

For portable use, the unit requires 4 x 'C' size batteries (not included).

  1. Ensure the unit is turned off and disconnected from AC power.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the unit.
  3. Insert 4 'C' size batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. General Operation

  1. Turn on the unit using the Power button.
  2. Adjust the Volume control to a comfortable listening level.
  3. Use the Function Selector to choose your desired mode (Tape, Radio, Bluetooth, USB).

5.2. Cassette Player/Recorder

Playing a Cassette Tape

  1. Set the Function Selector to 'Tape'.
  2. Press the 'Eject' button to open the cassette door.
  3. Insert a cassette tape with the open edge facing upwards and the tape side facing you.
  4. Close the cassette door firmly.
  5. Press the 'Play' button to start playback.
  6. Use 'Fast Forward' or 'Rewind' to navigate the tape.
  7. Press 'Stop' to end playback.

Recording to a Cassette Tape

You can record from the radio or Bluetooth input to a blank cassette tape.

  1. Insert a blank cassette tape into the cassette compartment.
  2. Select the desired input source (Radio or Bluetooth) using the Function Selector.
  3. Start playing the audio you wish to record (e.g., tune to a radio station or start Bluetooth playback).
  4. Press the 'Record' button on the cassette player. The 'Play' button will also engage automatically.
  5. To stop recording, press the 'Stop' button.

5.3. AM/FM Radio Operation

  1. Set the Function Selector to 'Radio'.
  2. Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal FM reception. For AM reception, rotate the unit for best signal.
  3. Rotate the Radio Tuner Dial to select your desired AM or FM station. The frequency scale will indicate the current tuning.
  4. Adjust the Volume control as needed.

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port.
  2. Select the source you wish to record from (Radio or Tape) using the Function Selector.
  3. Start playing the audio from the source (e.g., tune to a radio station or play a cassette tape).
  4. Press the 'Record to USB' button (refer to your unit's specific button layout if not clearly labeled).
  5. The recording will begin, converting the audio to MP3 format on your USB drive.
  6. Press the 'Stop' button to end the recording.
