3. Setup Guide

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items listed in the product's packing list are present and undamaged.

3.2 Powering the Monitor

The P6X monitor offers multiple power options:

  • NP-F Battery: Attach a compatible NP-F series battery to the battery plate on the rear of the monitor.
  • DC IN 12V: Connect the included DC power adapter to the 'DC IN 12V' port on the side of the monitor.

The monitor also provides a DC OUT 8V port to power your camera using a dummy battery (sold separately). Connect the dummy battery to your camera and then connect it to the monitor's DC OUT 8V port.

3.3 Connecting to a Camera

Use an HDMI cable to connect your camera's HDMI output to the 'HDMI IN' port on the FEELWORLD P6X monitor. If you need to loop out the video signal to another device, connect an HDMI cable from the 'HDMI OUT' port.

3.4 Mounting the Monitor

4.1 Touch Screen Control

The P6X monitor features a highly responsive touch screen for intuitive control:

  • Menu Access: Double-tap the screen or swipe up from the bottom to open the main menu.
  • Backlight Adjustment: Swipe up or down on the left side of the screen to adjust the backlight brightness.
  • Volume Adjustment: Swipe up or down on the right side of the screen to adjust the volume.
  • Navigation: Tap menu options to select, and swipe left/right or up/down to navigate through settings.

4.2 Physical Buttons

  2. Connect the USB flash drive to the monitor using a Type-C to USB adapter, plugging it into the 'DC IN 5V (Type-C)' port.
  3. The monitor will automatically detect the USB drive. Navigate to the 'LUT' option in the menu and select 'LUT Import' to load your files.

4.5 User Switching

The P6X allows you to save up to 4 groups of custom menu settings. This is useful for quickly switching between different shooting scenarios or user preferences. After configuring your desired settings, save them to one of the four user groups. You can then recall these settings directly from the 'User Switch' option in the menu.

5. Maintenance
