Setup

1. Initial Preparation

• Insert Micro SD Card: Before first use, insert the provided 64GB Micro SD card into the dash cam's designated slot. Ensure it is inserted correctly until it clicks into place.
• Format SD Card: It is highly recommended to format the SD card within the dash cam's settings menu upon first use and periodically thereafter (e.g., monthly) to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption.

2. Installation

The V8PLUS Dash Cam can be installed using the included hardwire kit for continuous 24-hour parking monitoring. Professional installation is recommended for hardwiring.

1. Mount the Dash Cam: Choose a suitable location on your windshield, typically behind the rearview mirror, that does not obstruct your view. Clean the area thoroughly before attaching the dash cam mount.
2. Connect the Hardwire Kit: The 11.5ft Type-C hardwire kit connects directly to your vehicle's fuse box for constant power, enabling the 24-hour parking mode.
• Red Wire (ACC): Connect to a fuse that provides power only when the ignition is on (Accessory power).
• Yellow Wire (Normal Electricity): Connect to a fuse that provides constant power even when the ignition is off (Battery power).
• Black Wire (Ground): Connect to a metal part of the vehicle's chassis for grounding.

3. Route Cables: Carefully route the power cable and any rear camera cables along the vehicle's trim to keep them tidy and out of the way.
4. Connect Power: Plug the Type-C connector from the hardwire kit into the dash cam.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

• Automatic Power: The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on (if connected via hardwire kit or cigarette lighter adapter).
• Manual Power: Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds to manually turn the device on or off.

2. Recording Modes

• Normal Recording: Continuous recording while driving. Videos are saved in 3-minute segments.
• Loop Recording: When the SD card is full, the oldest unlocked files will be overwritten by new recordings.
• Emergency Recording (G-Sensor): In case of a sudden impact or collision, the G-sensor will automatically trigger and lock the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten. These files are saved in a dedicated "Event" folder.
• Parking Mode: With the hardwire kit connected, the dash cam will enter parking mode when the ignition is off, providing 24-hour surveillance. It uses time-lapse recording or motion detection to save power.

3. Voice Control

The V8PLUS supports English voice commands for hands-free operation. Speak clearly and directly to the dash cam.
