Setup

1. Assembly

  1. Insert the handle into the main body of the VACMOP until it clicks securely into place.
  2. Ensure all connections are firm before use.

2. Charging the Battery

  • Before first use, fully charge the VACMOP.
  • Connect the charging adapter to the charging port on the VACMOP unit.
  • Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The indicator light will show charging status.
  • A full charge typically takes approximately 3.5 hours.

3. Filling the Solution Tank

  1. Locate the solution tank cap on the top of the VACMOP unit.
  2. Open the cap and carefully pour Shark VACMOP Multi-Surface Hard Floor Cleaner into the tank. Do not overfill.
  3. Close the cap securely to prevent leaks.

4. Attaching a Disposable VACMOP Pad

  1. Place a fresh disposable VACMOP pad on the floor with the dirt chamber facing up.
  2. Align the VACMOP head over the pad and press down firmly until the pad clicks into place.
  3. Ensure the pad is securely attached before operation.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press the power button located on the handle to turn the VACMOP on or off.

2. Vacuuming Dry Debris

To vacuum dry debris, simply turn on the VACMOP and glide it over the floor. The powerful suction will draw dirt and debris into the disposable pad's dirt chamber.

3. Spray Mopping Wet Messes

To mop, press and hold the spray button on the handle to dispense cleaning solution onto the floor. Move the VACMOP over the wet area to scrub and clean.

4. Combined Vacuum and Mop Functionality

The Shark VACMOP is designed for a complete clean. You can vacuum dry debris first, then spray mop, or use both functions simultaneously for efficient cleaning.

5. Suitable Floor Types

Maintenance

1. Disposable Pad Disposal

After each use, or when the pad is full of debris and dirty, dispose of the pad.

  1. Position the VACMOP directly over a trash receptacle.
  2. Press the pad release button located on the VACMOP head to detach the dirty pad without touching it.
  3. Discard the used pad.

2. Cleaning the Unit

  • Wipe the exterior of the VACMOP with a damp cloth as needed.
  • Do not immerse the VACMOP in water or spray water directly onto the unit.
  • Ensure the charging port is dry before charging.

3. Battery Care and Storage

  • Store the VACMOP in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • For optimal battery life, avoid storing the unit with a completely depleted battery.
  • If storing for an extended period, charge the battery every 3-6 months.
