This manual provides instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Calix GigaCenter 854G-1 Dual Radio Internet Modem Router. This device combines a modem and a router, offering both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands for reliable internet connectivity. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device.

3. Product Overview
3.1 Front Panel Indicators
The front panel features several LED indicators that provide status information:
- POWER: Indicates power status.
- BROADBAND: Indicates connection to the internet service provider.
- SERVICE: Indicates service status.
- WiFi 2.4 GHz: Indicates activity on the 2.4 GHz wireless network.
- WiFi 5 GHz: Indicates activity on the 5 GHz wireless network.
- ETHERNET 1-4: Indicates activity on the respective wired Ethernet ports.
- PHONE 1-2: Indicates activity on the respective telephone ports.

3.2 Rear Panel Ports and Buttons
The rear panel provides various connection ports and a reset button:
- ETHERNET Ports (1-4): RJ-45 ports for wired network connections.
- PHONE Ports (1-2): RJ-11 ports for telephone connections.
- USB 2.0 Port: For connecting USB devices.
- RESET Button: Used to restore factory default settings.

4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your Calix GigaCenter 854G-1:
- Placement: Position the router in a central location in your home, away from obstructions and other electronic devices that may cause interference. Ensure adequate ventilation.
- Connect RF Cable: Connect the coaxial cable from your wall outlet to the RF port on the back of the GigaCenter.
- Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the POWER port on the GigaCenter and then plug the adapter into an electrical outlet.
- Power On: The device will automatically power on. Wait for the POWER, BROADBAND, and SERVICE indicators on the front panel to become solid green, indicating a successful connection. This may take several minutes.
- Connect Wired Devices (Optional): For wired connections, use an Ethernet cable to connect your computer or other network devices to any of the ETHERNET 1-4 ports.
- Connect Telephones (Optional): If you have voice service, connect your telephone to the PHONE 1 or PHONE 2 port.
Once the indicators are stable, your GigaCenter is ready for use.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Connecting to Wi-Fi
To connect your wireless devices to the GigaCenter's Wi-Fi network:
- Locate the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password on the label usually found on the bottom or side of your GigaCenter.
- On your wireless device (smartphone, laptop, tablet), open the Wi-Fi settings.
- Select the appropriate Wi-Fi network name (SSID) for either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.
- Your device should now be connected to the internet.

5.2 Using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)
WPS allows for easy connection of compatible devices without entering the password:
- Press the WPS button on the front panel of the GigaCenter. The WPS indicator will start blinking.
- Within two minutes, activate WPS on your wireless device.
- The device will automatically connect to the GigaCenter.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation slots are not blocked to prevent overheating.
- Firmware Updates: Firmware updates are typically managed by your internet service provider. Do not attempt manual updates unless instructed.
- Restarting: If you experience connectivity issues, try restarting the device by unplugging the power adapter, waiting 10 seconds, and then plugging it back in.

7. Troubleshooting
